Better than expected

We had a lovely stay and were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The apartment was larger than expected and very clean. The bedsheets and towels were spotless and fresh. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful and went beyond the expected to help us. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom and kitchen felt newly updated and clean. The washing machine and fridge seemed new and there were refreshments free of charge when we arrived. The wifi was fast and stable. We brought our 18 month child with us and there was both a baby seat and a baby cot there which just made everything a lot easier. The location felt very felt safe, even at night. It’s about a 7-8 minute walk to Richmond station and district line tube. We would definitely stay here again.

Great host

As usual, Hotels.com poor communication let us down. We arrived onsite without instructions on how to get in, etc... Phoned the host up and left a message. Got a reply within 5 minutes and got in. The flat is ok, no real complains for the amount of money paid. Location is good, just 10 minutes walk to the station with lots of food and supermarket choices. Some supplies ran out during the stay and the host sorted it out within hours with Amazon delivering to the door. While there is free parking on the road, do note that it is permit only between 1000h and 1600h, to prevent commuters from leaving their cars and jumping onto a train I guess.

Very disappointing

Poorly maintained indoors and out, faulty equipment and facilities. Richmond is lovely but this out of town area is not. This apartment is cheaper than those in town but I’d suggest it’s worth saving up for an apartment in town instead.

The apartment was clean and spacious. It is situated in a cul de sac so minimal traffic although there is a nearby trainline and it is also under the flight path from Heathrow! It it situated in a very convenient position close to Richmond station, the shops and restaraunts, and most importantly for us, walking distance to Kew Gardens. We felt the whole apartment needed refurbishing. It was tired!

Excellent apartment Recommended

This was a really good find, for an excellent 2 bed apartment. location is really good, only 10 mins walk from Richmond stations , also close links from A316 to M3. ( Parking available outside apartment). The Apartment itself is really spacious & kitted out with all mod cons....Host was excellent -easily contactable and always helpful.
