This hotel was so cute and perfect for the two of us. It’s also a restaurant. Pretty good tapas and vibes. There are buses close by or you can walk 20 mins to the nearest tube station. The staff were super friendly. Our check in wasn’t until 3 pm, but we got there a little early and they let us check in at 1 pm. Definitely an affordable options! Highly recommend.
Staff was very welcoming. Underground station a short walk away. Rook was spacious and everything was clean. We sadly did not have time to try out the food. Would recommend to be away from very busy london
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. We ate in the restaurant a couple of times, and the food was excellent. The only issue we had was that it was very hot during the time we were there. Apparently, the holding tank for the water supply to the shower was exposed to the direct sun. As a result, even using only cold water, the temperature of the shower was scalding, and we were not able to take showers until morning. I hope they find a solution to the issue. If that were to be resolved, I definitely would stay there again.
My early flight meant I needed to stay in London and be able to walk to the Underground. It's a 15 minute walk. Both of my wheeled suitcases had an easy roll for the most part. The room was up some narrow stairs but it was large and newly redone and had a clean bathroom and shower. As a bonus, I had a delicious salmon dinner and a couple glasses of good wine at the associated Captain Cook Restaurant.
We arrvied a little early, they checked and the room was ready so we were able to check straight in, which was so helpful. Room was lovely and comfortable, towels super soft, we had water and tea, coffee etc, could not ask for more.
Excellant welcome and service.
Great place to stay.
The room was above the Captain Cook pub, which was very convenient. The restaurant had great food and drink, and the service/personality of the staff was fantastic. The atmosphere was kinda special, with it being mostly locals and regulars. Everyone was very friendly. There were a couple of Underground stations near by, which made it accessible to many of London's attractions.
Great spot with lovely big room with big bed. Very clean and not noisy. Blind in room needs to be fixed. Be prepared to walk up 3 flights of stairs with suitcases...need to be fit and strong ;-)
Beautiful pub with great wine choices and amazing authentic Spanish tapas. Really nice decor and cute outdoor space. We stayed in the pub too and the room was clean and spacious. Tastefully decorated. Great location for gigs in Hammersmith. Just a short bus ride away. Loads of breakfast options nearby.
The captain cook is a lovely unique bar and restaurant. The rooms are decorated with really nice “ship” touches. The manager was very welcoming and enjoyable to meet. Will be staying again as my son attending university at Imperial so handy for being close to the city yet still good for parking.

A great little find!
Really great little hotel , very spacious and immaculately clean room. Staff were wonderful and friendly. The pub was lovely and the atmosphere in there was so lovely! Definitely recommend!
I really loved it here! The lady who showed me to my room was sooo lovely kind and informing!
The bed was massive!! So that was a win!
Shower was great! A lot of coffee tea milk and sugars for the morning!
It was pretty warm in the room but they gave you a fan!
Overall win tbh
Thank you!
Lovely staff were kind enough to let me check in early, which was a godsend considering how exhausted I was from my travel! Food in the pub was good, room was comfy and in good shape, and location was convenient. Couldn’t ask for more, really.
The Captain Cook is clean and in a quiet area. You escape the tourist crowds and the rates are a real bargain, too. The pub below the rooms served great food and the buses to downtown London and the tube were very convenient. Plus, the Mil Kitchen around the corner served a great breakfast. We will be going back when visiting London. Also, the staff members were super friendly.
