Great small London hotel.

Beautiful hotel. Lovely interior. Staff were fun and cheery. All very helpful. Lovely cocktails. Perfect for visiting royal albert all. Will definitely be back.

Great location for this grand dame of a hotel. You can tell she is elegant, however now her decor is tired and needs upgrading in particular in the bedrooms. Once any refurb is done, then this hotel will be worth the prices they want. This is a historic place to stay. This company will try and charge you a discretionary service charge when you check out. It's in the small print. You need to tell them to take it off your bill if you don't want it. I find it underhanded and unctuous. Other than that, this hotel is well-placed for the park or the RAH.

Old world charm was a nice change

A very comfortable stay at The Gore within walking distance of Knightsbridge, High Street Kensington and Gloucester Road stations. We enjoyed the old world charm and Victorian vibe, which made a change from modern hotel rooms. Very well equipped and cosy room. Staff were excellent and made us feel valued as guests. Didn’t have time to try the restaurant but will make a reservation next time. Only thing to work on is breakfast. The full English was delicious but other options were on the small side and the omelette was meagre with shavings of ham and mushroom. Otherwise, I look forward to booking again.

The hotel was lovely. All rooms were very individual. Staff were great. Good breakfast. Continental is served to you. I have never had that before. Bit hot in bed even though turned down the heating. Would go back there

A fabulous stay here. Staff extremely helpful with everything. Room was very traditional. Only thing that would have improved things was a good coffee machine that seems to be the norm in many hotels now. The gore had just a kettle (with the world’s shortest chord) and terrible sachet coffee. We were disappointed that the much heralded restaurant was closed on Mondays….which was our main day of the stay…this hadn’t been pointed out on booking. The bar however is still extremely cosy….highly recommended if very pricey. (But this is Kensington). Overall would stay again. Easy 10 minute walk to to all museums and 5 mins to Albert hall so ideal for a show.

With a rich history the bar is a wonderful place to relax. The location is perfect for access to the Albert hall. Room lovely but we would have preferred a king size bed. Next time we will get one!! The breakfast … full English for me, was delicious. Nothing to fault at all. An enjoyable stay.

Cosy traditional British hotel

A real treat. I have always wanted to stay at The Gore and I was not disappointed. From check-in to check-out the experience was fabulous. Lovely, down-to-earth & efficient staff. Hotel was not just clean but luxurious while staying cosy and comfortable with a very traditional British vibe. We will certainly be returning on my next work trip.

Left feeling like a princess

We had an amazing experience at The Gore London. The staff were all amazing and treated us with kindness and respect. We were very impressed by the service on many occasions through the day & night we were there. First of all we were able to check in a little early, they even gave us a room upgrade with a bottle of chilled Prosecco waiting for us in the room. We had forgotten our phone chargers at home and they were kind enough to bring one up to our room, twice actually since we didn’t specify which we needed and at first it was the wrong type. We then ordered some food to the hotel from just eat and they kindly accepted our order at reception and even brought us a tray, plates & cutlery to eat with. All of this without even being asked or expected of them. The room was nice and clean, the bed was super comfortable and the bedding was so so soft, it actually felt like sleeping on a cloud. I am super super impressed and left the hotel feeling like a princess. That’s always a good thing, and makes me want to come back again and again.
