This property needs a total facelift. The Expedia rating is not accurate. Closer to a 2 star. The building is old. Rooms were stuffy. The bedding needs replaced.

Comfy and friendly

A comfortable hotel thats very central we stayed because its location to the Savoy Theatre. Staff are very friendly . The rooms are not over spacious but clean and comfy. Breakfast is first come first served so there can be a wait but the food quality good.

The hotel is very well located and central for the theatres and Covent Garden. Very clean and friendly staff. I found the rooms were quite small but clean and adequate for the amount of time you spend in the room.

I booked Strand Palace Hotel because of its location. And yes, the location is superb. Very convenient and there are countless of restaurants and shops nearby. Even though it's busy outside, it is very quiet inside the room. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They helped me locate my glasses after I check out, immediately after I called. And I was able to get them on the same day. They made my trip a wonderful experience.
