Canal Front with 30' Dock! Private Pool! 4 Bikes! Neighborhood Beach! 4 BR 3 BA!

"SOMBRERO HEAVEN" is a canal front 4 bedroom 3 bath attached Villa with neighborhood ocean front beach just down the street! It has a private pool that can be heated or chilled (for a fee), private dock (up to 35' boat), fish cleaning station, bait freezer and 4 new bikes! Additionally, there are beach chairs and an umbrella, pool and beach toys.
Fully stocked home and kitchen with everything you need included, including free WIFI! Centrally located in Marathon, close to all the restaurants and activities and just an hour from Key West! This property is island living at its best!

The Master is located upstairs and has an ensuite bathroom with a walk in shower and water closet, king bed, TV and overlooks the canal! There are two other guestrooms upstairs that share a hall bath with a tub and shower. One has Queen bed, the other a full and both have TVs. Downstairs is the four bedroom with a full bathroom (tub and shower). Located off the kitchen, the bathroom opens to the bedroom and the kitchen.

The door operates with a pin pad and the code will be provided shortly before your arrival. There is covered parking and additional parking for a boat/watercraft trailer.

Meredith, the property manager, will be available day and evening, throughout your stay, for any questions, needs, or recommendations. You will be able to contact her directly on her cell.

Angler's at Sombrero is a new development on Sombrero Beach Road, just down the street from Sombrero Beach - a beautiful oceanfront beach! Sandy beaches are not common in the Keys, so it a real asset to have an oceanfront sandy beach just down the street! There is a sidewalk all along Sombrero Beach Road where you can bike, exercise, or walk to the beach! About two minutes from the grocery store (Publix and Winn Dixie), a minute from the beach, and less than 10 minutes from any of the amazing restaurants and activities in Marathon, the location is perfectly centrally located! Only an hour from Key West and about 20 minutes from Bahia Honda State Park, you can easily make day trips!

We recommend you have a car during your stay in the keys!

We provide TP, PT, hand, dish and bath soap, laundry pods, and dishwasher detergent that should be enough to last a week. We also provide all the bed linens, bath towels, and pool/beach towels.


$45 Management Fee is Damage Insurance covering up to 3k in damages.

Wonderful house for family of 6!

We absolutely loved our stay at Sombrero Heaven! The house is so clean and has plenty of room for 6. We loved the private pool and downstairs outdoor area. The property manager responded to texts right away, but we only had to reach out once. They came midweek to clean the pool and check chemical levels. We have already discussed booking this place for future family vacations! Loved it so much. Note - We weren’t prepared for the summer bugs in FL! We got eaten up the first night. However, we bought some supplies and were ready by night 2 and had a great time. I highly recommend choosing this rental for your vacation!

Layout and location worked very well for our family. Communication with the property manager was great. The availability of a high-chair and play and pack eased our travels with a little one. We were also able to rent additional items from Babyquip just two miles away.

Lovely Getaway

My husband and I stayed here for a little over a week in early May 2025. The location is great - very close to Sombrero Beach and amenities (side note: I recommend Publix over Winn Dixie). We also liked being in Marathon; there are tons of restaurants to pick from and it is easy to visit other Keys as well. This property was cute, very clean, and well equipped. Only downsides: (1) the property manager convinced me to pay to heat the pool before we got there and there was no need. We asked to have it turned off a couple of days in and even then the pool was more like a hot tub. Maybe earlier in the year it would have made more sense. (2) I received so many separate emails about this booking that it wasn’t until we were driving in that I realized I hadn’t received the code to access the house. I requested and received the code promptly, but it seemed like the priority was on limiting the owner’s liability and expense (pool heating) rather than the experience of the guest. (3) My husband and I like to have the TV on for background noise, so we noticed right away that the cable packages aren’t uniform between TVs and some are very limited, so there were channels we could watch in the living room that we couldn’t watch in the bedroom. I also never figured out how to stream in the bedroom and the living room TV has a blue streak (the panel is going out). Not a big deal - who goes on vacation to watch TV? - but something to be aware of, especially if traveling with kids.

Great bachelor week with friends

Our group stayed here for a bachelor party in the keys. It was the perfect spot for home base in the middle keys, everything was super clean when we arrived, AC was cold, plenty of fridge and freezer space and nice comfortable beds. Jennifer was very responsive and easy to work with, she accommodated every request I had and got back to me within minutes if I had a question. I would highly recommend this property to any group interested in a stay in the keys.

Great house. Just as pictured.

The house is just as pictured. Super clean! We had plenty of room and loved having a space to dock the boat we rented. There’s ample space for parking 4 vehicles plus a trailer. My girls loved the pool toys that came with the house. The pool was the perfect size! Upon our arrival the pool was 95 degrees. It felt like a hot tub! We contacted the property manager and she sent over someone to chill the pool for us. He was there within an hour or so. He was very nice and helpful and showed us how to control the pool chiller if we wanted to make it a little cooler on our stay. He also aired up the bike tires while there. I will say, it cost us an extra $145 to have the pool chilled while we were there! I feel like that is something that should be done automatically before check in, being in south Florida. I found it a very steep price that we had to pay extra based on what we already paid for the house. We had no choice but to pay because there was no way we could have enjoyed the pool with the temperature it was upon arrival. I also want to warn any future guest about the biting gnats! They were awful in the mornings and evenings. They ate my girls up! There may be nothing that can done to control this, but future guests should bring bug spray! It might be a good idea for the property manager to set out some Off candles or tiki torches that repel bugs in the future. However, that would not hinder my decision to book this property again! It is a great property!

This place is AWESOME!!

The property manager was fantastic. The pool was great after a day of fishing, lobstering & snorkeling. We had plenty of room for the 8 of us + our 2 year old. The dock held our 32’ yellowfin perfectly. I HIGHLY recommend this place. The only negatives: The grass was really high but they came to cut it on our last day there. Missing a smoke detector inside. The pool exit gate to the dock was faulty & was a concern for our little one. The mangrove at the dock needs trimming- especially if someone is staying next door with a boat. Make it a tight fit. The dock is in great shape tho. The location was great to go to Sombrero Beach, lighthouse and was really close to Publix & Winn Dixie. That was very convenient. The enrance / exit in the canals takes 15- 20 minutes. We didn’t mind as it gave us time to rig up while on our way out. The place was very secure and we didn’t have any concerns for our property. PLENTY of parking for 4 vehicles + our boat trailer. Property manager was FANTASTIC!!!

Beautiful property and excellent location

It was perfect for our family, swimming pool, fishing on the pier and close to shopping. The twins really enjoyed fishing off the pier and they caught a shark, a blue crab big enough to eat and too many small fish to count. The property was clean with plenty of room for our family of eight. Meridth was available for any issues that we had. We definitely would stay here again.
