The property was very cute. And the hosts were very nice and understanding. I lost a ring down one of the drains and they came over right away to get out. Only complaint is the noise. There was construction in the downstairs unit all day and every day we were there. But other than that it was great.
The place is adorable- quiet, fun, and beautiful! It's located in a nice area with a grocery next door and several restaurants within walking distance. Gas and pharmacy are easily gps-mapped. The decor of the place is very cool, with Marilyn and Elvis all over! There are LPs from the 60s-80s, and the furniture & accessories match those eras. I loved the kitchen- the cherries were a great decorative touch and the wallpaper in the sitting room is gorgeous!Everything was comfy, especially the couch, and everything we needed was there-extra pillows & blankets, lots of towels, hairdryer-everything we needed. Two comments for future guests-dont forget water & snacks just in case the grocery is closed when you get in (like we did lol), and the bed (in the front room, at least) is VERY soft with the topper. It felt lovely, but I am a little heavy and my husband is very tall; it's not so great on our backs to sleep on clouds! This is not a criticism, it's an observation that may help others pick out the right bed haha. The bed in the standard bedroom is, I think, larger and more firm. Next time, I'm fighting my grown kid for it!It was a lovely experience (considering the circumstance that brought us) and we would 100% stay again.
My daughter and I enjoyed the space very much. We especially enjoyed the deck, ease of parking, entry and the fun environment created by the hosts. The bathroom window is enviable: beautiful light.
