The Green Door Apartment at Lion Hide Villa is a recently renovated property located in the upscale community of Westgate Hills at the edge of Montego Bay city centre. We are 8km from the airport. There are four apartments on-site, each with its own unique style with modern set up and amenities: A/C, hot water, Wi-Fi, ceiling fans, flat screen TV with cable, plug in speaker to enjoy your own music, as well as bedding/linens/ towels, fully equipped kitchen with granite/ marble countertops. While smoking is not permitted inside the apartments, each has its patio/ balcony with outdoor seating. Each apartment is fully grilled and has netted windows.

Guests have full access to the Lion Hide Rooftop VIP Lounge, an 1800 sf patio on the third floor with beautiful ocean, mountain and city views. There is a full, covered kitchen with two jerk pans (BBQ), as well as different seating areas, dominos table and day bed. It is a perfect location for morning, sunset or evening yoga (matts and blocks on-site) or evening outdoor movies on the projection wall.

There is also the Lion's Den out back, a large chill out area with beautiful mountain views over looking a sugarcane field. There is an inground, salt water pool, a full outdoor kitchen with two jerk pans and dining table. The entire back of the villa is covered, with a long bench along the back for lounging around with sun chairs, hammocks and hammock chairs for reading or napping.

There is guest bathroom/ shower on the main level carport with a guest laundry room across the hallway. The property itself is fully gated with outdoor cameras. The lot is well fruited with mango, ackee, june plum, orange, lime, cherry, breadfruit and avocado (pear) trees. Some vegetables and herbs are grown on-site. There is interesting local art throughout the property and areas where you can contribute and leave your mark if you so choose.

Tosh and Marley are our sweet watchdog pups in training and Ninga the cat runs the block.

Great place!

My overall rating is 3plus.

My overall experience was great, Omar the grounds keeper was great, he's really a nice layback person, and easy to communicate with, I really enjoyed getting to know him, and the Dogs were nice, but they barked a lot throughout the night. I was kind of disappointed that the rooftop bar and restaurant was not open, during my stay, that was one of the reasons, I choose to stay there for 14 days.

Lovely location

Lisa is a great host . Omar who is on site is very nice and respectful. The pictures don't do the place in justice. It's gated for security. Pool was very clean. I will be coming back soon to stay. Internet works well at the condo. I give it all 10 . Thanks for the opportunity to stay . My choice of beer now is Red Stripe. Thanks!

Our stay at Lion Hide Villa was perfect! The villa itself is more than enough space for a couple, was very clean, and had everything we needed during our stay. The property was gorgeous, with a beautiful view from the rooftop, and many different spots for seating around the property. The pool was so nice, and perfectly clean. We really appreciated the on-site manager, Omar, who answered any questions we had, made himself very available and gave wonderful recommendations. The animals on the property were so sweet and only added to the loveliness of our stay. The location of this villa in montego bay was very convenient- we could get anywhere in mo bay within 10-15 minutes, and if you are a confident driver, we recommend driving to be able to go wherever you would like across the island. Overall, the Villa really made our trip to Jamaica one to remember, and when we come back, Lion Hide is where we will be! Thank you again Lisa and Omar for the best time! 🩁🩁🩁

Jamaican Paradise

Just got home last night and can’t wait to go back !! Was greeted by the property manager Omar, & Marley and Tosh the pups !! Was also greeted by our security cat Ninga !!! ♄ The villa was as pictured and very clean. Had a gated private patio in front. The pool area was breathtaking and the rooftop was amazing !! Omar helped us whenever needed, especially since I forgot to update my phone for international travel and could get or received calls, but on the bright side that was good because I really got to enjoy my visit. Can’t say enough about the view, even with the clouds it was just breathtaking. It Also Dwain our driver for most of our visit was the best and really kept an eye on us, which we really appreciate. Hope to come back in the future, just loved it

Quick Getaway

Lisa and Omar are lovely. Communication was excellent and I appreciated how personable they both were. The property is quaint and quiet. Very unique, I appreciated the lounge spaces and the security of our accommodations. You can tell they put their hearts into creating this space, there are numerous little touches that added to how special the property is. Only recommendation I’d make is to upgrade the mattress and provide napkins and paper towels in the kitchen. Also, I fell in love with their very friendly dog, Tar! One Love Lisa and Omar!!

Amazing stay

My partner and I stayed here for 4 nights and were extremely impressed by the villa. It looked even better than the pictures and was a very quiet and safe neighbourhood. Omar and Lisa were both very accommodating and made our first visit to Jamaica very memorable. Definitely recommend and we are planning to go there again soon!

October 2022 - The owner Lisa was very responsive and the manager on site, Omar, was very attentive. The property was very nice and priced just right. Since we stayed there during off season, we almost had the whole property to ourselves! The salt water pool was relaxing. The hammock and swings by the pool were great. If you want to grill you will need to buy charcoal (and fluid). It is a good idea to grill on the top deck if you like grilling. The scenery is awesome! You can see the whole Westgate area and can even see the ports and beach from the rooftop deck. There is working WIFI on site as well. There is a contact for a driver also, if you want sightsee and venture out. Good times.

Fantastic Location

I came for a week getaway and could not have chosen a better location. Everything is as pictured and the Mountain View along with the ocean view is beautiful. Lisa and Omar made sure that I was comfortable and I felt safe while traveling alone. I will definitely come back for my next visit.

Absolutely Amazing!!

From booking to checkout! This was the most amazing experience I've had in Mt Post Covid travel. The Villa was much better than I imagined. The.peace and safety I felt was priceless. The bed ! The grounds!the amenities! I was.able to rest but get out to an excursion. I was taken to the market. Not at ant time did I need anything. Communication and attentiveness of Omar and my Driver who works along with Omar and Lisa only make it better.

AMAZING STAY

The unit is on the 1st floor, security gate to the property and the unit. All things needed for cooking in the kitchen and operational Wi-Fi. Omar (owner) was very accommodating for any questions, Tar (dog) always made sure I was safely in my unit while Ninga (cat) was hardly ever around, lol. I enjoyed the rooftop for my exercises and views, while having my own pool party, complete with fresh coconut water, mangoes and naseberry
flourishing fruit trees throughout the property. Download Hugo app for food delivery, otherwise, there is a driver available for tours and errands into town. It was truly an oasis, quiet and breezy
