Room was great, staff was great too, no issues with any of that .
HOWERER , they asked for my credit card at the coounter, I had already paid online. They said they needed a $100 pre-authorization.
For any damage etc. Im 69 years old , were not partying in the room . We just want rest. She said its just pre-authorization , and it will be reversed in the morning.
Morning came ,,she said when they have the room done and if everything is okay they will cancel the credit card pre-authorization.
I said no, check the room now , so I went up to the room and got the housekeeper shawna to go in with me , she said everything was good. I went down to the front desk and told her Shawna said it was good . Then she said she will reverse it right away .
We got home later that night . Went online and found out it wasn't a "pre-authorization "
The $100. Was indeed taken out and still not reversed. . I feel i was treated like a crimnal , no trust in us to want a damage deposit.
Now they have my $100 and have to keep checking for the refund. So they lied to me about the "pre-authorization " and this property owner takes $100 from everyone and holds it , that is criminal ! .
Im not happy with my "RAMADA EXPERIENCE " we weren't told about a damage deposit at the time of booking. .
