Everything was great. The only thing to be aware is that the thermostat's settings is resetting the temperature you set for your room, after 30 minutes to the default 21 Celsius. But if you go deep into the settings you can change the default temperature the thermostat reset to after 30 minutes, to your chosen temperature. Before I left, I set it back to 21 degrees Celsius.

Stay was great at Osaka View Hotel Honmachi. Staff were very welcoming and the area was quiet and peaceful while also being relatively close to some main spots like Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi. Room was beautiful and clean and had every amenity you could want.

If minus 1 was an option that would be it. This hotel is not family friendly. They were very rude at front desk. Demanded we pay for things we didn’t need to. We left after one night it was that awful. It was dirty and the worst experience we have had in Japan.!

Called Osaka View, but my room just faced a stairway/building next door. Nothing but walls a few meters away. Entranceway light lit up the whole room and switch was impossible to find. I only found it the next morning after I a had to use master switch to shut off all the electric. Happy Hour everything was gone 20 minutes for ending time. On the plus side, its very new and clean. Was fine for our simple late night to early morning stay.

Tiny room and damp problems

Not impressed. We had a triple room which was tiny with little space to move around and actually impossible to open suitcases. The room was damp and smelt musky. Visible stains on the walls and wallpaper peeling. We asked to be moved, which we were, and the replacement room was better but remained unsuitable for three people.
