Stayed for 1 night to catch the next morning flight. Shuttle bus was prearranged around 5 am arrival on time. Standard double room was clean, mattress medium firm. Staff are courteous. Not closed to any shops or restaurants, the only one eatery available is at another hotel that requires some walking distance, due to the stormy rain, we ate the beef instant noodle from the vending machine. Overall it was a good stay.

Big sized room for inner city hotel. Staff helpful. Daily basic clean suitable. Probably not a suitable area for families with young children as street workers very close by, but always felt safe...

Continently placed right next to one of Osakas major attractions, The Glico Man and the surrounds, this hotel was a decent place to stay for three nights. Although it is right across from what we assumed were host clubs and bars making it noisy during the evenings, the stay was pleasant enough. Staff were courteous and helped us when our room key was working initially and kept our luggage’s safe when we did luggage transport from Kyoto. If you want to opt for convenience and not have to walk lengths just to visit the shops or a 7/11 this place is for you, just keep in mind the noises at night and that the room is particularly on the smaller side when you have multiple luggages

The room wasn’t very clean, weird marks on the walls and ceilings. Aircon emitted this really foul odour as well, the whole room desperately needed a bit of upkeep. The cherry on top was seeing a cockroach crawling around the walls on our final night there. For reference we have stayed in 4 hotels in japan for a similar price and experienced a much cleaner and nicer environment in all of them. fresh towels and clean bedding was the only thing going for it, but even that i felt uneasy with given the state of the rest of the room.

My wife and I arrived early to the hotel. We inquired about dropping off our luggage early so we can explore, the counter person was rude to my wife and I. The room was really cheap, but it had mold in the restroom. I would only recommend if you’re super desperate to stay in Japan and need a really cheap place to stay. I will not come back to this hotel.

The room size was okay for Japan. There was a spot to sit in the room next to the bed. Pillows sucked, they dont give you any washcloths in your bathroom for showers, but you can grab a sponge (in a sealed package) for showering in the lobby we found out after we had showered. Luckily I saved a new nice washcloth from the last hotel we used. My wife thought it smelt like cigarettes but I didnt. Oh yeah, no ice machine. The location is nice, right in the heart of it all. good for transportation. We went to universal studios the second day because we didnt want to shop any more. Block off from the canal and so many food choices. We did travel up to Katsuo-ji temple by bus. Best temple we visited (IMO). We were templed out by the time we finished with Kyoto but am glad we did this one. Overall I liked the hotel, Only real gripes were no washcloths in the bathroom and no ice. Everything else was satisfactory.

Everyone very helpful especially for us only speaking English. Rooms are nice and cozy, area is perfectly off the riverbed and main attractions.
