Begin each morning with a hot cup of coffee and a sparkling view of the desert mountains from the balcony of this two-bedroom condo in Palm Springs.

This second-floor condo is located in a securely gated community of a less windy neighborhood in Palm Springs on the famous Palm Canyon Drive. South and beyond the busy downtown strip, it’s still within distance for energetic walkers wanting an early cup of mid-city coffee. This condo sits off the road and has strict rules about noise that might have you believe you’re staying in a retirement community but it welcomes all. Sitting at the base of the San Jacinto mountain range, the home has beautiful views of the mountains from both sides, plus it’s only steps away from and overlooks a sizable pool which are surrounded by swaying palm trees that are softly lit up at night. While you may be tempted to work from one of the balconies using the WiFi, we hope you’ll bring your swimsuit and a good book to relax by the pool under the palms, unplug and get away from it all. Community BBQs, laundry rooms, and tennis courts are also on site for your use and enjoyment.

Whether you're planning to spend your days lounging by the pool or shopping and dining downtown, you'll delight in having this comfortable condo as your home base. There are two balconies - one in front with a view of the pool terrace and one off the primary bedroom suite with gorgeous views of the mountains. Inside, you'll be greeted by central air conditioning, large windows, and a carpeted living room with leather furnishings and a streaming-equipped flatscreen TV. The adjacent kitchen is outfitted with stainless steel appliances (including a French-door refrigerator and a dishwasher), while the window-side dining table has seats for four. Additional amenities include en suite bathrooms and free WiFi throughout the condo. ​

Appliance problem

Very good location and amenities. Frig was a constant noise problem which took more than a week to resolve. Solution was fine, but it took much too long and involved too many messages and calls.

The add says TV . Yes there is a monitor that has netfex . A television has network channels CBS,NBC,ABC,Fox,PBSIt took 2 days to tell me these were not available and the owner would not help. I had to take a subscription to youtube to get thes

Poor Communication - Do not recommend

If you are looking for somewhere to stay in PS...don't stay here. Communication to get you into the property is just fine, but once you are there - zilch! No response to any emails or calls we made. Our biggest concern - the fact that 3 out of 4 of us ended up with a terrible, irritated and itchy rash from the extra bedding. Thankful for the the Pharmacist who was able to help out out, but no thanks to the managers/owners of this property. We have yet to hear from them. It is a beautiful location.

Condo in Palm Springs

The property was very nice and we're familiar with it because we've rented here twice before. There were a couple issues related to the stay that I would like to point out. Even though they had a property manager, vacasa, there was no guidebook available to us when we checked in. It was also very confusing because while there's a satellite, it wasn't hooked up and no guide to all the remotes and how the TV worked. The refrigerator had issues with a loud motor noise. The beds were comfortable and the place was generally very well equipped.

Central location, great amenities!

This unit was perfect for 2 couples. It has everything you need and is spacious. The pool, hot tub and tennis courts were always clean and available. We used the central bbq for our dinner which was handy to have. Nice neighbours and a social atmosphere. Parking was covered so our car was never overheated. Thanks for everything!

Good for short term stays

Pros: The place was spotless. Pool is great. Location perfect. Decorated beautifully inside, with most of what you need, they quickly got us a teakettle when we saw there wasn't one. Easy parking, small development easy to walk around. Nicely landscaped. Cons: We could hear our neighbours talking and yelling so walls must be thin. We could smell people smoking on balconies and our balcony overlooked the parking lot on one side. No washer/dryer ( a paid communal one) which is a hassle for longer term stays. Management gave us the wrong lockbox code and it took almost 45 minutes of anxiety for someone to realize this and rectify it while we waited outside with melting frozen food and missed a meeting. Got a "soft" apology and felt they didn't really care about our inconvenience. Fan in bathroom VERY noisy; we asked for it to be fixed and aren't sure if they did because it continued to be noisy the rest of our stay. Altogether: great for a week, not sure we would stay longer.
