Book Cheap Hotels in Palm Springs

"The property is older and some parts of it are run down (like the pillows of the pool cabanas), but our family of 4 had a relaxing time spending 3 nights here. The price was inflated because of Cochella, so it was probably not worth $399 per night for 2 queen beds. There wasn't much ventilation in the bathroom, so it got kind of musty in there and the property is so massive it was a long walk to the lobby. I would recommend if you can get the regular rate ($135/night) and not have to pay up during high season. My husband had a massage at the spa ($165 for 1 hr) and said it was great. The workout room was really nice and we intended to use the free bikes but never did."

"This hotel wasn’t for us. The rooms need to be updated. You can tell they have fixed things here and there but just kind of covered things up. Our air conditioner made a weird noise all night, our safe didn’t work. We booked for 5 people (3 older) kids, and we were expecting a futon but our room didn’t have one. My fault for not checking. I seen futons in the pictures so I assumed. My mistake. The front said they couldn’t give us room with a futon although the place seemed empty, they didn’t seem to care. They gave us 1 blanket instead. Next time I will be more careful and call to be sure. The pool area was decent. Lots of parking. A 8 minute drive to the night market."

"As most other people reviewed, this is an old property that does not meet Hyatt standards. Building need lots of improvements. If it were a lower grade hotel chain I would have given it a better review. If you are expecting Hyatt quality, you will be disappointed. The hotel is right downtown with lots of good restaurants and shops. It's worth staying there because of the nice area. Just don't expect much from the hotel quality."
