Classic Mid-century modern home, completely remodeled with private backyard and fantastic views of the San Jacinto mountains from the living room and backyard. House is fully equipped with all amenities, 1800 square foot interior, 900 square foot covered lanai overlooking pool and jacuzzi on a private 10,000+ square foot nicely landscaped lot.

Home fully opens to a spacious and private outdoor living area featuring an outdoor dining area, comfortable couch and seating area for entertaining and intimate settings.

Large flat screens with full choice of cable channels and HDTV 1080p, 120 Hz in all 3 bedrooms and family room. Wii gaming console, Bose surround system and Blu-ray. WIFI and DSL provided, along with indoor speakers. This home is full of good energy and plenty of ambience.

Located in the wind free area of Palm Springs, and minutes from downtown Palm Springs and all other local attractions, recreation areas, and several world class golf courses.

This 1949 home was built by Paul Trousdale, a well known Los Angeles developer of his time. The area, which included over 200 homes, was developed by Paul Trousdale, in partnership with Pearl McManus, under the name Palm Springs - Tahquitz Company. Pearl McManus was the daughter of Honorable Judge Guthrie McCallum of San Francisco who arrived in 1884 with his family, seeking health for his tubercular son. He was the first permanent white settler to build a home in Palm Springs.

Great HVAC. Well thought out decor, not the garish mismatched furnishings of some rentals. We'll apportioned kitchen with good layout with useful island. Mattresses might need to be replaced in the near future. Backyard has great layout. Close to a lot of PS got spots. Seemingly quiet neighborhood except for next door dogs barking all night one day, and on numerous days squealing children on one of the houses behind. A little of that is OK and understandable, but all day for days on end is to much. However, great house

We had a wonderful time. The propery is really well maintained and cared for. We loved the historic vibe and decor. We loved the location. The kitchen was really well apportioned. The AC worked great when it was too hot to go outside, which is not always the case with rentals in the area. We loved there was plenty of real grass in the back yard so our dogs did not have to walk on hot cement during the day. We stay in Palm Springs every 4th of July weekend to have a small family getaway and also get our two small dogs away from a lot of fireworks. The owners were friendly, accomodating and easy to work with. Overall this is was the best place in PS we have stayed at in all our visits to PS over the past 5 years. It met all our needs and exceeded expectations. Highly recommended. We will definitely try to stay here again if we are able to book it.

It’s a perfect house for our family

We stayed with a 33, 41, 67 and 69 year old with plenty of space for all of us. Such a beautiful backyard and pool and covered area, which we spent hours in, everything one could want to cook in the kitchen, and very clean and comfortable. Can’t wait to go again.

What a dreamy spot!

This is by and far the best rental home I've ever gotten. The house itself is beautifully appointed, super comfortable and clean. Everything you need is there. We had three adult women in our party and the house felt really big for us - you could easily have a couple of families staying in this house and not feel cramped. The yard is gorgeous with beautiful plants, tons of birds, a gorgeous pool (pay to have it heated, it's worth it), lovely lounge chairs, etc. The location is prime - super easy to get to everything. Downtown was a less than 5 minute drive. You can walk to the bagel place, some antique stores, and generally around the cute neighborhood. Beds were comfy, and as someone with high scent sensitivity I didn't find the linens to be smelly/perfumey (a big deal for me). Oh, and it was QUIET. So silent and peaceful, very little neighborhood noise. Incredibly relaxing.Also, the check out process was super smooth and we barely had to do anything. None of the messing around with starting laundry or stripping beds. And the owner was super responsive when we had questions, and really nice and accommodating. Love this spot. Will book it again in the future!

Just about perfect!

Coffee mornings by the pool, fresh pomelos from the tree, late afternoon swims after a day at Joshua Tree or downtown Palm Springs, Jama’s place checks all the boxes! Walking distance to PS downtown, 5 minutes to all necessities - supermarket; pharmacy, (The Purple Room!). Comfortable beds and lots of room - photos don’t do it justice. Backyard is wonderful! Quiet street and neighbourhood. Friendly, unobtrusive owners (Thank you, Jama!). Well worth a try for your next trip to Palm Springs!

We would def stay here again. Perfect size for our family of 4. The large Outdoor space is wonderful and indoor space is spacious and cozy. Kitchen was stocked w everything we need to make meals. Close to downtown PS which was nice too. Hosts were available if we needed anything.

Perfect for our group

It was great staying at this property and worked out perfectly for us and a couple of our friends. The patio, pool and hot tub were a great retreat after a day of exploring Palm Springs . We even stayed in one night to enjoy the cozy tv room. The hosts were great at communicating everything we might need to know and the property was very tidy and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again :)

Very comfortable home in a quiet neighborhood

We have spent time in Palm Springs for the last 50+ years. What attracted us to this property is that it is in a community that is not in the downtown, but is walking or biking distance to visit there. And beautiful Mountain View’s still exist here. The home is very comfortable, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, large beautiful backyard with pool and spa and dog friendly. . Very tastefully decorated in mid century modern. The living room is perfect for morning sun and coffee. The den and dining area face the backyard and the view and no sun hits here . There are 2 bikes available in the garage for renters. The neighborhood is lovely for walking and biking The online listing wasn’t completely accurate as it listed a heated pool. The pool is only heated for an extra charge. After talking with the owner Jama, who is very kind and honest, she has changed the listing to reflect this and I’m therefore giving her 5 stars on “listing accuracy” because it is now corrected on the listing. The house was clean and had all the comforts of a home. The pool and spa were such a bonus for us. As was the lovely outdoor living area. We look forward to our next visit in this home.

Beautifully well-done home! Kitchen had everything we needed! Regular coffee maker and bean grinder. Huge fridge and freezer with ice maker. Large patio with lots of comfortable furniture. Hot tub and pool with fantastic mountain views. Plenty of pool towels. Lovely hummingbirds flitting all around. 2 comfortable sectional couches for indoor relaxing. Comfortable beds and pillows. Great shower pressure. Jama was the most accommodating and responsive owner I have ever rented from. She was above and beyond! I would highly recommend her home and look forward to renting from her again. Book it!

The property is in a quiet neighborhood, not too far from essential businesses. The house is clean, well equipped and nicely appointed - it has everything one would need for a short-term or long-term stay. The pool is great for hot days.
