The staff was warm and welcoming and responsive..The rooms were clean . We did not have breakfast at the hotel and we did not need either air conditioning or heat so I can't comment . It was a bit noisy, the noise insulation between rooms isn't the best. The Hotel is conveniently located but on a noisy Blvd.

The staff were all very pleasant and welcoming. The hotel felt very safe. The rooms could have been bigger with more bathroom space. The rooms had the basics but not any more. i.e. Tea/coffee and safe. Some had a wardrobe others open hanging space. The later rooms seemed larger Hotel breakfast simple and basic but more than adequate. Again the dining area was very cramped. The area around the hotel felt safe and had an excellent choice of dining/drinking options. Room prices I believe were very competitive for Paris. Would I stay again. Yes.

*Room for scams* My stay at Hotel Alane was extremely disappointing. The owner's behavior seemed discriminatory, and I felt targeted. When I reported the AC issue in my room, which had been a recurring problem according to previous reviews, the management's response was unprofessional. They accused me of causing disturbances based on recordings of other guests, which was not only unfair but also invasive. It felt like they were looking for ways to justify keeping my money and avoid providing a refund. The reviews on this platform don't seem to reflect my experience, and I suspect they might be curated. I would caution others to be aware of the potential issues with this hotel.

Great staff and friendly . Great location . Power points all coming away from the sockets which was a concern. Bed frame not sturdy and not great for 2 people. Shower so small not great and had some mould.

Excellent location with restaurants and cafés everywhere and just around the corner from the Gare de l'est and 10 mins walk from Gare de Nord. Bathrooms are tiny but this is to be expected in Europe. The Kettle and tea in the room was nice. Bed is a double only and not the regular 2 singles pushed together. This hotel is excellent but you need ear plugs as the walls are thin and it seemed to be a major route for sirens. Still, I would highly recommend this hotel.

The photos showing the hotel are somewhat different to what we experienced. Pros Location was good as close to Gare de L'Est and a short walk from Gare du Nord. Concierge staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was small but practical. Air-conditioning actually worked. The bed and bedding were clean and comfortable. Free Wi-Fi. Clean towels. Free tea and coffee in the bedroom. Cons The bedroom decor was in need of attention. The bathroom glass vanity shelf was sloped forward so most items were sliding off. We had to place wet tissue to stop this. The mirror light didn’t work. The shower cubicle was very tight given I'm 5'10 and broad upper body. Breakfast was served in the basement. The space was small with 8 small table with barely enough room to get to the breakfast bar without knocking into someone or something. The breakfast menu was limited; choice of 2 cereals, sliced brioche, pain aux chocolat and croissants/apple pie, boiled eggs that you had to wait to be cooked in a 6-egg electric cooker, plain/fruit yoghurt, apple/orange juice, coffee machine, selection of teas, jam/honey/Nutella minis, a selection of non-halal meats and cheeses along with butter and finally apples/oranges. No sauces Only 1 salt shaker which everyone shared. Overall, if you're solo or using it just as a base, then you'll be fine. If you're planning on relaxing for several hours without feeling boxed in, might want to consider a larger room than the double room we had.

Hotel itself is decent, the staff are very helpful. It is located on a very loud street so sleeping wasn't the easiest. The location is quite far from the main attractions and it is close to a sketchy train station.

A nice clean hotel, near to train stations

Had a lovely stay at the hotel Alane. Room was very clean, comfy bed, receptionist was very helpful. Plenty of places to eat around the hotel. Would definitely stay again if we come back to Paris.

Great location and property. Very noisy outside all night every night - Room was corner room and side street every night people talking loudly outside at small pizza place until 3am from Just be prepared for the busy road traffic snd activity outside

This quaint little hotel is a very short distance from Gare De L'est and Gare Du Nord, very easy to get around aris from here. The rooms are clean and confortable and the staff are very friendly. We were warmly welcomed. Dont bother looking at the others around here, if you want a clean comfortable cheap hôtel, this is the best.
