Great location

Pros: Close restaurants
Cons: Noisy
Close to Montparnasse and Gaite Metro stations. Room was clean and spacious. Our room was right over the street, however, so we had to keep the shutters closed, which made the room pretty warm.

Hotel was decent.

Pros: across from supermarket, easty metro access
Cons: No free Internet
The hotel overall was average. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, average size. In general, it felt a little dated-- they could use some sprucing up, I feel. Didn't try the food, so cannot comment on that.

What a lovely little hotel!

The Arcadie is a wonderful little two star hotel located very conveniently near Gare Montparnasse. I loved my little room, with the big windows, quilt on the bed, wireless Internet, and a beautiful (and free) breakfast, with fresh baked croissants, lovely coffee, and freshly squeezed juice. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, and spoke English to me when I needed it, which was very kind. The room was also spotlessly clean. I loved it and would certainly stay there again and recommend it to anyone in the market for a small, simple, affordable place in a great location.
