The staff were all very friendly & helpful, most excellent breakfast! Excellent location. Totally walkable - easy to come from Charles De Gaul Airport on the train -RER direct to the Luxembourg station & an easy 5 min walk to hotel. Beds comfortable. Only thing negative is the Room was a bit dated. But it is a historic building!

The hotel was very traditional, and quite small in places. Our room had a rather run down balcony and it was tiny but the view was brilliant. Sadly after a long day out visiting Versailles we came back and our room hadn’t been serviced, we asked at reception and went out while this was corrected but when you are tired and needing a shower, it was rather inconvenient. Otherwise I can recommend this hotel especially if you like quaint.

Very nice hotel. Unfortunately the main elevator was out of service the week we were there, this meant guests and hotel staff used the old elevator. Only one person at a time could use this. Occasionally someone on an upper floor did not close the door, so NO ONE could use the elevator until a staff member ran up to the 6th or 7th floor to close the door. The staff was friendly and accommodating, The breakfast was well done.

I would not rate it as a 4 star hotel . The property looked worn, The had cleaning supplies in the hall way, Staff was not helpful and did not care. There was construction going on and only 1 elevator. Would not recommend.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! It’s located in a very safe and quiet neighborhood, yet it’s just a short walk away from all the main attractions, restaurants, and shops. The perfect balance between peace and convenience. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to explore Paris on foot while enjoying a relaxing and secure place to stay, and they offer a varied and delicious breakfast I would definitely stay here again.

Disappointing Stay Despite Friendly Staff – Mislea

I want to begin by acknowledging that the staff at this hotel were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. Upon arrival, we were informed that the main elevator was out of service. Instead, we were directed to use a single-person lift that looked like it hadn’t been updated since the early 1900s—an inconvenience that set the tone for the rest of our experience. We had booked a King Deluxe room, but what we found was far from what was described on the hotel's website. Although the listing claimed the hotel had been remodeled in 2022, our room told a very different story. The "king bed" was actually two twin beds pushed together, with one side much firmer than the other. This made for an incredibly uncomfortable and restless night’s sleep, every night of our stay. The wallpaper was wrinkled, stained, and dusty, and the room had an overall neglected feel. The bathroom was another letdown. Instead of the bathtub-shower combo shown in the listing photos, we had a cramped, uncomfortable shower. The toilet was positioned so close to the wall that using it required sitting at an angle. The lamps were crooked, and the recently painted balcony doors had been painted shut due to sloppily painted hinges. Breakfast was advertised as a continental spread, but what we received was minimal at best. Bread, cold cuts and boiled eggs with juice and coffee. The property is not inexpensive, and the misleading advertising is unacceptable.

A return to Paris

Very friendly and helpful reception. Excellent breakfast choice in the restaurant. Room service breakfast also very good, although if weather not good enough to eat out on the balcony consumption a little awkward. Room was comfortable with plenty of wardrobe space. The only issue was with the lift. The main lift is out of action and the service lift could only hold one person at a time.

Only reason of my 3 stars is I called and reserved and confirmed we would get a room with a balcony and I was given a tiny room with no place to move around. Tiny bathroom.

This property is in a great area within walking distance to restaurants, shops and city highlights. The elevators was not working but the staff is always available to help with luggage if needed. The breakfast was good but will be nice if they have daily different options. Overall enjoyed my stay and will come back.

Good With One Caveat

A well located hotel in the Latin Quarter with easy walk to Notre Dame. Walkable distance to the Louvre and Musee D'Orsay. Multiple good cafes and restaurants are close. A comfortable room and staff was very helpful and accomodating. Downside for our visit was that the elevator was out of service for the duration of our stay. Older folks will be challenged by stairs if on an upper floor. In addition, the service elevator went out of service during our visit, making the stairs the only option. I would check on the status of the elevator before booking again. Overall, a decent, well-located hotel with kind staff.
