Terrible!!! I would strongly discourage you from staying here.

Pros: Close restaurants
Cons: Noisy, rude staff, inflexible cleaning hours, personal items were stolen
I had a terrible experience at this hotel. The staff was rude, accusatory, and stole things from our room including a hidden iPod and several articles of clothing. When we had a plumbing problem in the bathroom, they accused us of causing it purposefully. They were not receptive when I voiced complaints. In the lovely city of Paris, this hotel was the only downfall of my trip.

Watch your stuff

Pros: Free Internet
Cons: Noisy
Don't leave your valuables in the hotel room. The system that the hotel employs is very insecure. Whenever you leave your room you have to leave your room keys at the front desk. When you come back, you must ask for your keys back. Although this may seem reasonable at first, when you ask for your keys, they don't check any documents and give you the keys for whatever room you ask for. On several occasions, they misheard us and easily handed over keys to another room. During our stay at the hotel, we left a small purse containing a large sum of money hidden inside a backpack in the hotel room. On the second night of our stay, the purse was gone. Upon this discovery, we informed the hotel clerks (several of whom rotate every few hours). Most of them, however, simply didn't seem to care and disappeared when their shift was over. The same response was given when we asked for a few replacement bath towels since none had been left in the bathroom.

Absolutely Horrible

Where to begin. If you looked at the photos you will see the shot of the front of the hotel is shot at an upward angle. The reason for this is because the hotel is on a small, narrow street with no parking spaces. The front desk was rude and required that they photo copy my passport in order for me to stay there which I was not 100% comfortable with but after being awake 24 hours nothing sounded better than taking a shower and getting to bed. Until I got to my room. The room was small. The room is 8 foot squared and there was no room for two grown men to sit comfortably. The TV didn't work, the heating did neither and the bathroom was deplorable. I addressed this with a staff member who feigned an inability to speak English. I don't know what metro station the other reviewer was talking about because the nearest one is Villagers which is a quarter mile away. There were no amenities. No breakfast. No fitness center. Security? Yes there is someone at the front desk at all times but when you leave the hotel you are required to leave your hotel room key with the front desk and there is no safe in the room which to lock up your valuables. Essentially, this place is more of a hostel than a hotel and the staff is more hostile than hospitable. The one thing I can say was good about the staff was when I needed a car for the morning they called one promptly. I wouldn't stay here if they offered me a free presidential suite for a month. I have stayed in bad places. I even lived in Compton, California, but this was horrible. Find another hotel. NOW!

Would stay there again

This Hotel has a perfect location,300 meters from the metro station. It is located in a street that has eveything you can imagine, grocery, supermarket, pharmacy, laundry store, coffee shops,etc.... It is close to everything 10 minutes to the Eiffel Tower, Moulin Rouge, Champs Ellyse etc... Staff i s very very friendly.Breakfast is expensive 9 Eu/Per and not worth your money. Rooms are extremely small but clean, but no one goes to paris to stay in his room. I would definitely come back again.Don't search for a better hotel, this is more than perfect. Tip: Avoid avoid avoid the street gamblers. You will never win this game. They have people whp appear playing and winning but in reality they work for them. You will never never never win .Do not stop and watch you will lose your money.Avoid Avoid Avoid.

Im sure there are better hotels to stay at

Not the best place. There is no air conditioning, the bathroom tiles were cracked and in pieces on the floor. I asked on two occasions for a wake up call in the morning, but never got one and there was no alarm clock in my room. On the brighter side, the staff I encountered were very nice, and the hotel is in a decent location. The room I stayed in was very small. I was by myself and was only there two nights so the size was not really a big deal. Another good point is that it is a very short walk from the Villiers stop on the 2 line of the Metro, so getting around was a breeze.
