Getaway Gulf is a spacious, family‑friendly coastal home designed for large groups and gatherings. With room to sleep 24, this five‑bedroom retreat is one of the few homes in town that can comfortably host large families, friends, reunions, and multi‑generation trips. The location is outstanding—guests can walk to the beach, and The Big Store, restaurants, and shops are all very close, making everything easy and convenient during your stay.

Inside, the open living area is bright and comfortable with plenty of seating and roku tvs. The well‑equipped kitchen includes two full‑size side‑by‑side refrigerators, an oven and stove, dishwasher, microwave over the range, cookware, dishes, utensils, a wine bottle opener, can opener, pizza cutter, and a set of cooking knives. The dining area has room for everyone to enjoy meals together, which is perfect for big groups.

The bedrooms are arranged for comfort and convenience. Downstairs includes a king ensuite master bedroom, plus two additional king bedrooms connected by a jack‑and‑jill bathroom. The remaining bedrooms offer flexible sleeping arrangements for families and groups. In total, the home has three showers plus one tub/shower. Fast 75+ mbps internet and roku tvs throughout the home make it easy for everyone to stream and stay connected.

Getaway Gulf is elevated on pilings, and light movement can sometimes be felt on windy days. Concrete under the house provides easy parking and a shaded area for gathering. All beds are made before arrival, and fresh linens and towels are provided so you can start relaxing right away.

Guest booking must be 25+ and staying for the entire reservation

There is no public transportation on the peninsula, and rideshare services are not reliably available, so guests should plan to drive during their stay.

Golf carts are not provided. Guests may rent from Crystal Beach Golf Carts, and we recommend Randy at 409‑679‑1448, telling him Amy sent them.

boating
Guests can launch boats at Stingaree Marina, the Boyt Road ramp, or the state ramp near Rollover Pass. These provide easy access to the Intracoastal Waterway and nearby bay areas.

hunting
Hunting is a popular activity in the area, and guests have access to excellent nearby locations. The J.D. Murphree Wildlife Management Area and the Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge both offer opportunities for waterfowl and other seasonal game.

winery tours
Winery tours are available within a short drive of Crystal Beach. Nearby options include Frascone Winery in Anahuac, Ceccoli Vineyards in Winnie, Yepez Vineyard in Baytown, Haak Vineyards & Winery in Santa Fe, and Clear Creek Winery in Kemah.

parasailing
Parasailing is available through Third Coast Parasail in Crystal Beach. Riders enjoy wide open views of the shoreline and coastal scenery.

water skiing
Water skiing is available near Bolivar Peninsula. Guests must bring their own boat and can launch at Stingaree Marina, Boyt Road, or the state ramp near Rollover Pass.

golf
The Ranch – Wallis Smith Community Golf Course is located on Bolivar Peninsula and offers open fairways and a relaxed coastal setting.

Galveston Island day trips
Guests can take the Galveston Ferry, often seeing dolphins during the ride. Once on the island, they can enjoy Pleasure Pier, Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn Waterpark, the zoo‑style Rainforest Pyramid, restaurants, shopping, and historic attractions.
