No frills,PROS: a clean, comfortable room at a reasonable price. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water in shower, plenty of towels, television had plenty of channels and worked perfectly, though no MSNBC. Quiet and convent to attractions and shopping in area. CONS: No electric outlets near desk area. No adjustment to room temperature that I could find, but temperature was comfortable for me.

Adorable property. Has a cute retro cafe area where breakfast/coffee are available, as well as ice machine. Loved meeting Teddy Roosevelt, the corgi concierge!

This place was stellar. I can't say enough about it and I will definitely look forward to staying here again. It is a pristine, blast-from-the-past motel where the old time feel has been preserved in the most conscientious way. The room was cleaner than any I have been in at any hotel or motel and the bed was more comfortable than any bed I've slept in at a motel or hotel anywhere. The simplicity of this place makes it just perfect. Not too much, not too little of anything. Everything needed is thoughtfully and carefully provided. The breakfast room is adorable and the grounds are beautifully kept as well. I'm grateful that this place exists and wish there were more like it!

The location was great. The shower was horrible, like showering under Niagara Falls. The misty power of the shower sucked the shower curtain into the tub so it stuck to you.

This motel is pristine. The units are up to date and modern with wonderful extras. The morning breakfast room is a delicious delight. The motels location is great and their advice on restaurants and visits to all of Hyde Parks memorials is on target and most helpful

Great, convenient place to stay while spending a weekend in Hyde Park touring FDR's home and library, Vanderbilt home and Eleanor Roosevelt's home at Valkill. Room was clean and comfortable, good water pressure. Nice coffee set up.
