Not up to Hilton standards. The lack of customer service training is visible, no smile, no effort to help you, if you have a problem they say it will be taken care of but this never happens. We had two rooms, one was OK but the toilet clogged and even if we asked them to fix it they didn’t come. The other room had the phone broken and nobody bothered to fix it for 4 days. The windows didn’t have sun blocking curtains as the other room so we woke up at 5am because of the sun. Also very noisy sometimes because of the groups. They didn’t want to give us connecting rooms (family with 2 children), we had to go up and down all the time because we were not even on the same floor. The worse part is that the supervisor at the reception heard me asking their help and being refused but she ignored me. So this lack of customer service could be explained by the kind of management they have

Old not maintained, desk never answered the phone my husband had to go downstairs twice for the same issue. TV did not work, the shower in the room was clogged and took them two days to fix. When others guest shower it is very noisy. I paid almost $500 dollars a night. Don’t stay there you have better offers.

This is not a 5 star resort. Nothing about it from staff training, unfriendly doormen, food service. Not worth the money. Hotel is misrepresented. I moved 0.7 miles to Copacabana Belmond. Night and day difference. Advertised as Same hotel class as Hilton, not even close

This Hilton is a diamond among other Hilton properties which I feel have really sunk. The people are LOADS ahead of other hilton properties and I look forward to returning there. The only thing I would do is redesign the rooftop pool and reorganize the lounge chairs to accommodate more chairs in a circular design. People really hog these chairs which are in high demand.

On arrival our 2 rooms were not ready and we had to wait a while to go to the bedroom. When we did eventually got the room, we had to call the staff to clean it, which they were quite happy to do so, which Luca was very helpful all the time there after. Although my son had to wait a lot longer for their room. There is a variety of things to eat, however, as one member of our family has allergies, there was a small variety of food to eat (Gluten etc) The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and also the security at the Hotel is great. Great location and fantastic views from your bedroom.
