"Hotel has beautiful spiral staircase. Also has an elevator so you dont have to carry luggage up the stairs. Parking is at garage down the street at a discounted price. Also had a limited breakfast for a fee. Staff was very friendly. "

"We had a very pleasant stay in this hotel. The bedding was the most comfortable I have ever had in hotels. We slept so well. The hotel is conveniently situated near the overground station , it takes 25 minutes to central Porto. We had breakfast at the hotel and it was excellent. My only criticism is that the hotel charged my credit card twice for the tourist tax, once upon checking in, once when checking out. I did say to the young girl who checked me out that I had paid for the tourist tax upon checking in to make sure i wouldnt be charged twice. She assured me i would not be double charged but they did!!! I did send an email to the hotel through Expedia ( as the hotel doesnt have a direct email adress) but this still remains unanswered. I did try to call by phone but again no answer. I do not know if this is a genuine mistake from the hotel, but if they do this to everyone, they must be making a fortune! So, I would advise people to watch out for this. Having said all that, I really liked the hotel."

"It was a lovely stay at this guest house. The place was very clean and within walking distance to the beach, as a plus. There were good restaurants and supermarkets nearby, and the neighborhood felt quiet and safe. Overall, it was a very lovely experience."
