Beautiful family/kid friendly modern penthouse apartment with private rooftop located at Villas del Mar Beach Resort with views to the ocean from almost every angle.
Conveniently located just 30 min. from San Juan Int. Airport with pool and semi-private beach.
Accommodates 8 adults. 3 bedrooms (5 beds), 2 bathrooms, laundry room with washer and dryer, ocean view terrace and balconies.
Air conditioning units in every room as well as in the living room and kitchen areas. Wi-Fi and Flat Screen TV, cable, DVD/BlueRay player with Netflix are all included.
Walking distance to the beach.
This beautiful Beach Resort has two pools, a Jacuzzi, gym, tennis, basketball and beach volleyball courts.
This Resort is just 30 minutes drive east from San Juan International Airport (SJU). If golf is your thing or you are willing to try it, the Trump International Golf Course, home of PGA's PR Open is just minutes away. Two left lanes merge into Hwy. 66 East Canovanas / Fajardo.
Pass toll using AutoExpresso lane if your rental car has their decal, if not use the right lane to be able to pay with cash or card.
Take Exit # 14 North PR-188 Loiza / Rio Grande / Canovanas.
Cross PR-3 and Continue on PR-188 San Isidro / Loiza until the end.
Turn right on PR-187 East towards Rio Grande and continue until the Km. 22.6 mark on the left side of the road.
After the Km. 22.6 mark look to your left for
the Farmacia MedianĂ­a billboard.
Make a left on that street and continue to the end of the street.
Welcome to Villas del Mar Beach Resort!!
Use the middle lane and identity yourselves with the Security Guard.
The apartment number is I-402.
After the guard drive straight to the next to
last building on your right, look for the parking spot label I-402. **** January 2024 update **** after last huracĂĄn season because of high tide, complex fence to beach was damage, now complex is working if rebuild and processing law permits, so direct access to beach is closed because of safety, beach access still open is walking around the complex 7-8 minutes walk, using the street at the left side of complex.

We had an excellent time at this apartment! The views were spectacular. The beach was easily accessible and gorgeous. My kids loved the pool near the ocean. The host was extremely accommodating. They directed us to a local pharmacy that was able to fill a prescription that could not be filled at Walgreens. We can’t thank the hosts enough for their hospitality.

The apartment served us well as a home base for our adventures, half way between Old San Juan and El Yunque rainforest. There is a small grocery store nearby which is very convenient, but be prepared to drive 30 minutes or more for restaurants and activities. The surrounding neighborhood is a little run down, but the people are very friendly and helpful. The apartment needs some minor repairs (loose towel bars, leaky kitchen faucet) and the hot tub was not hot, but the pools and beach were great for the kids. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

The property was wonderful for our vacation. We had everything we needed to prepare meals and enjoy the pools and beach. The gated community provided a sense of security. Good location. We had a rental car to visit other beaches, El Yunque rainforest and the bioluminescent. I would definitely recommend and book again.

Thw house was nice, clean and well equipped! We had plenty towles and kitchen items. The master br didn not have a tv, i messaged the owner and within a few house he had one installed for us. The top deck wasnt as clean as i would have liked but it is outside so thats to be expected. Owners were helpful with tips and suggestions .

family vacation

was an awesome place, I did not realize it was on a 4th floor with no elevator but had some great family that carried stuff up and down. It was in listing i just didn't see it. Everything you would need was there. I just had to do food shopping. The beds were comfortable, 1 king size and a bunk bed in each other room with full size on bottom and single on top. It fit my family well plus pull out couches in living room. Security on property was great, secured fenced area all around with a security 24/7. i would rent again . Thank you for experience

Secured apartment complex. The apartment was clean and well taken care of, the roof top deck and balconies were beautiful despite needing paint. The pools were extremely dirty with dead animals floating in them so we weren't able to use them, but the ocean being so close made up for it! Proximity to El Yunque was very nice. Got our work out going up and down the four flights of stairs. Host was very responsive when we arrived very late. Would stay again !

Pictures were accurate!

We had a wonderful stay! The views from both balconys and the private rooftop deck were amazing! I even got to see the celestial "happy face" from the back balcony. The condo had everything we needed. The beds were comfy and there were plenty of towels. The kitchen had everything we needed. There is a Walmart not too far away, and a nice little neighborhood store at the end of the street. We will look forward to returning someday.

Great base camp to explore north east PR

Great space for our family. Loved the rooftop and beach access. It was centrally located to a lot of sights we wanted to see on PR. Could use some more tourist friendly restaurants near by, but plenty of great options 15 minutes away.

Great Rooftop Terrace!

Our family enjoyed this property, especially the rooftop deck and the laundry machines. Communication was easy and swift. Lots of stairs so be prepared! The view is worth it.

Great Family vacation

Our visit to Puerto Rico was amazing! I was slightly concerned driving to the condo but once inside the gated community, my mind was more at ease. The town itself seems very local and not many tourists (which was more the feel we were looking for) but I’m not sure we would have wondered outside of the condo area after dark. And it was a perfect location to get to our plans in Old San Juan and then also plans of a boat tour to Icacos Island and our tour of the rainforest. We traveled with four kids age 16-6. The beach was so close and beautiful. We spent a whole day just there right outside our place. We spend time watching iguanas in the trees right beside our balcony. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. The folding chairs for the beach were slightly rusted and maybe could be replaced as they are starting to come apart at the top and have metal poles sticking out. The beds were Very comfortable. Overall this was an excellent stay for our family.

Lack luster

The host was very responsive. The location is away from the city which offer peace from the hustle and bustle. My name wasn’t listed as a guest upon arrival and though I was given the opportunity to check in early, I sat outside of the gated property for two hours. The property is not well maintained and the furniture is extremely worn. The couches were mucky with dust. No one sat on them during the visit. The property bathrooms were NOT cleaned. The showers were filled with soap scum. The pictures from the listing are old so don’t expect the homeliness. What went well was the communication between the host. I definitely wouldn’t stay again but the area was amazing.

Perfect Spot to get out of the City

Nice 3BR condo on the 4th floor of a gated, guarded complex. House is set up for easy use and the AC and all applicances work great! The big sell is the outdoor rooftop space! The beach was not acessable while we were there due to hurricane erosion, but there are plenty of beaches to visit within 10 minutes drive.

What a great apartment

This was such a wonderful place to stay. The rooftop patio was a great spot to catch the evening breeze and also a good place for afternoon napping in the hammock. The host was able to get us checked in early since our flight arrived early in the day. It is a good location for visiting attractions in the area
