Private Penthouse Beach Get-Away

Come and relax in a beautiful 2 level condo just steps from the beach. The main floor consists of a fully equipped kitchen, living room, dining area, 3 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom has a queen bed, the second bedroom has a queen bed, and the third bedroom has twin bunk beds. This set-up can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people. The bedrooms have a/c, and there are fans in the living room. The 2nd level consists of a private rooftop terrace that overlooks the pool. It has gorgeous mountain views to the east and views of the pool to the west. It is perfect for outdoor relaxing, sun-bathing, and cocktails. The condo is located in a gated community in the town of Loiza, which is ideally located just 30 miles east of Old San Juan, and 15 miles west of El Yunque National Forest. Nearby attractions include hiking, horseback riding, kayaking, ziplining, local art studios, experiencing local food, drinks, and music at the kiosks of Piñones, learning about the local culture at Cueva Maria de la Cruz, fishing, and nightlife. There is also a newly renovated mall just minutes away with an indoor racetrack, arcade, indoor rope course, virtual reality hub, bowling alley, bar/restaurant, and plenty of shops. But if you just want to hang out by the beach, beach chairs, beach towels, and a cooler are provided for your convenience. The condo rental includes two parking spaces and there is wifi throughout the condo. A rental car is recommended since this is a small town.

Our stay

We just left PR and we loved our stay in this condo. Safe and very comfortable for the entire family! Will definitely come back and stay again. We stayed in a different condo at the same location before and we can assure both times we amazing. This particular condo was pristine and very clean and we all enjoyed our vacation . The pool and beach were right there!

30 days of relaxation!

The property was as described. A nice condo in a small gated community with easy access to pools and the beach. Neither the pools or the beach were every crowded. The condo development was in the small community of Loiza, but there were plenty of stores within 15 minutes and restaurants like the Longhorn, Olive Garden, Chili's and Applebee's within 25 minutes. Getting around the island was very easy and safe. Thank you Denise.

Great spot for family with young kids!

Overall we had a great stay here. The 2 young kids loved having the pool right there. The beach was also very nice but the waves were a bit big for a 2- and 5 year old to play in so we didn’t spend much time there. However, there are a lot of great swimming beaches within 30-45 minutes in either direction. The place had lots of great beach toys, chairs, and floaties for the kids too. There weren’t a ton of restaurants or shops close by so we usually went elsewhere to eat out. It’s definitely more off the beaten path. Next time we’d probably stay in a different town closer to more swimming beaches and things to do. However, the location and complex were very quiet. Only issues we had were there were no door keys, no hand towels in the bathroom, both remotes for the gate didn’t work, and the shower water pressure was super low and made showering after the beach quite annoying and take a long time to wash sand and salt out of the girls’ hair.

Super happy we picked here to explore PR!

Communication, description, and value of property was amazing. Location was great. We had a rental car which made this place perfect as a peaceful, safe, easy access basecamp while we explored the rest of the time. All needed item were available. Hot water is HOT and great supply. Walk to beach there at property was easy and when we where there, we practically had it to ourselves. The beach chairs and cooler were much appreciated. Again Denise also communicated with us promptly and answered/helped us out as needed! My only few not perfect thoughts were, the bed sheets were not breathable and made for uncomfortable nights even with AC on and the gate code didn't work/we couldn't get in on our first night. HOWEVER after a quick message to Denise- all was taken care of and we got it.

We LOVED our stay here! The condo was exactly as described, we were comfortable, felt safe and thoroughly enjoyed the rooftop terrace! Communication with the host was excellent. Our only complaint is that we wished there was a better blender (we loved making pina coladas) and one big coffee pot (instead of 2 small 4 cup pots) would have been more convenient. A car is a necessity if you stay here. We found ourselves driving a lot during this stay - which wasn’t a problem as I loved PR driving! But Loiza is a little out of the mainstream so restaurants and grocery stores required a drive. That said, it’s only about 15 minutes to most locations. We would stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it if you are looking for something a little off the beaten path.

The area itself is not in the best part of Puerto Rico but don’t let that deter you from staying here. The property you are on is extremely safe. The best part about this rental is you have 2 miles of beach basically to yourself. It’s like a movie. The condo is spacious and nice!

My 1st trip to San Juan was great!

The biggest issue was not being able to get in the condo unit outer gate. No one answered the code call. We had to wait for someone to exit and sneak in... not good. Once in, we had the unit door code which worked fine. Then inside there was a remote control for the condo gates...however one remotes batteries were dead. The circuit breakers tripped a couple times and we had to find the panel behind a picture to reset them. Other than that, the unit was exactly as discribed and photos were accurate. The rooftop deck is lovely! beach is private and perfect. Neighborhood is a little rundown, but condo community is secure with 24/7 security. Good place.

I would say I really enjoyed my stayed, I love how clean everything was.

I love the privacy due to the gates it made us feel safe, especially that we were all 6 females 3 of which never been in Puerto Rico. I would just recommend a bit of upgrade in the bathrooms other than that I give it a 5. I would definitely come back. Thank you Denise!!

Nice comfortable place.

Nice place near the ocean/beach. Great pool. Rooftop terrace is very pleasant! Would be great to have two keys to the beach gate. Check in was ok once you figured it out. 3 bedrooms a real plus. Dryer didn’t work. Definitely need a rental car.

Missed the hammock but otherwise LOVED IT!

We truly chose this property for the hammock upstairs, which was not there. So that was a big disappointment. And we couldn’t figure out how to work the air conditioning in the main room. But other than those two things, it was perfect!!!! Clean, great communication from the owner, great location. We would come back!
