Hotel Riu Playa Blanca - All Inclusive
"I thought this was a very nice all-inlcusive. It appeared to be the only one in the area with direct beach frontage. There were four pools, one for kids and one with a swim up bar. There were a large amount of lawn chairs on the huge beach which was not crowded at all - though my friend told me, in the winter months, the property will become very crowded with foreigners. The food selection was very nice - Asian, Italian, steakhouse, Mexican and buffet. The shows at night were fun, including live bands, dancers, and karaoke. The stuff were very pleasant and very helpful. I would stay here again. There was a very small location for beach vendors who remained at their stall. Men renting horses, but they were not pushy. Don't bother taking the boat ride to the island. It's expensive and you can swim a little, but that's about it. I would highly recommend the Riu Playa Blanca!"
