The Saratoga Clubhouse was in an excellent location and walkable both to downtown Saratoga as well as the Racetrack. The house itself was immaculate and very well-equipped. Parking was available and easy. The host could easily be reached and was extremely attentive in answering questions we had. All in all, it was an excellent place to stay in Saratoga and we'd definitely do it again!
My wife and I stayed here with our son during move-in for his freshman year at Skidmore. This was the perfect location to walk to town for dinner and to meet friends. The apartment was clean and well-appointed.
Bucket list trip to the Saratoga Travers couldnât have been any better! The place is definitely in walking distance to the track and to some good food places, especially the Thirsty Owl right in the backyard! Wonderful Kitchen to use and very comfortable accommodations for all of us! The host was very attentive and easy to work with.
Great location, quiet neighborhood within easy walking distance of downtown and the race track. If I went to Saratoga Springs again, I would stay here again
Our family of 4 adults enjoyed our stay and are hoping to return next year. The rental unit is as advertised in the description and photos. Even nicer. Clean and well appointed. Plush towels and toiletries in bathroom. Kitchen was clean and had whatever plates, cups, and cutlery we needed. Coffeemaker and even some coffee pods were also there. Cute front porch and a roomier back porch with a table were great for family time. Truly walkable to Broadway and the racetrack. I recommend staying here.
This seems to be a work in progress. The inside was clean, well furnished and comfortable and we enjoyed the nice appliances, Keurig, washer/dryer. We appreciated the soaps, shampoos, paper goods etc. Much nicer than a small hotel room and in a great location--walk to the track, restaurants or close by to everything else in Saratoga. The interior is exceptionally dark
(painted dark navy -- including walls, trim and ceilings), like a dungeon. There were not enough lights to brighten the place, particularly the guest bedroom, which was too dark to see anything at all--please add a floor lamp at the very least and reposition the mirrors so they are usable. The outside of the house and the grounds need some major attention -- painting, powerwashing, lawn mowing, weeding, cleaning. We loved the porches upstairs (dirty and stained) but the front porch was unusable. Weeds and poison ivy and a shredded porch flag greet arrivals. This has the potential to be a stunning place with a little more work. If you think only old men who don't give a crap about aesthetics attend the races at Saratoga, guess again. Women love the track and want to stay in clean, pretty places. (I own and rent a condo in a resort destination so I am not oblivious to the care and work that is involved in maintaining one.) Good Luck!
