We had a lovely stay, and really enjoyed the view and the serenity. Being able to sit in the living room and see the lake or be in the kitchen area and have a cup of coffee while looking at the lake was beautiful and relaxing. The property location was excellent for its proximity to the things we needed. The view is lovely, but it would be nice if the property had a balcony/deck off the dining room/kitchen area. Having to go downstairs through a bedroom to get to the deck or BBQ (or going outside and down the outside staircase) is a bit inconvenient. There is a nice little grassy area for pets in the front yard and the set up for the kitchen, living room and dining area made gathering with family and friends easy and enjoyable with ample seating for everyone. The kitchen is well stocked and has everything you need to cook breakfast, lunch or dinner; and the owners have thoughtfully provided fun games and books that add to your enjoyment in inclement weather.The property owner/managers were wonderful and very accommodating. They addressed a couple of issues that came up quickly and were helpful and friendly. I would not recommended the property for individuals whose mobility is limited or restricted due to the need to use a wheelchair or walker. The main floor bathroom is a bit small & several stairs outside of the property and inside to get you to the deck areas or to the downstairs bedrooms.This property was everything we had hoped for and needed. It's very nice.
