"Plans were a concert at Soaring Eagle, Everything was either booked or unaffordable in Mount Pleasant. Edmore Inn came up on search 18 miles away. (35 minutes). Family room that sleeps 6 was available at a reasonable price. 5 adults slept comfortably. Room was clean, beds were comfortable. Pump hand soap, body wash and shampoo in bathroom. Microwave and fridge in room. The furniture is very nice, lodge feel. Was very quiet. Continental breakfast was limited but was given a $5 off coupon per person for hot breakfast next door at the Depot. We didn't have time to swim but pool area looked nice."

"Very clean room, comfortable bed, nice sheets, friendly check-in. It’s an old motel so you can still smell the old cigarette smell in the room from when smoking was allowed inside. Price is great for what you get! Fridge, microwave, clean furniture. Overall a very pleasant stay and lots of stores and restaurants in the area. Would stay again in ever in the area."

"This property exceeded our expectations. The pictures were beautiful, and often when we get to a property it doesn't match the pictures, but this property was different. Our host was incredible with communication, and they have a gift for hospitality - every little thing you could think of to make the stay great was already done. Honestly, I can't think of 1 single thing I would change. I was looking for a place for my wife and me to celebrate our 20th anniversary, and I wanted to find somewhere in Michigan on a lake with Kayaks. We went out every night around sunset and enjoyed the peaceful lake and the views. The water is crystal clear - we saw fish, turtles, loons and more. The kitchen was fully stocked with every pan that we could possibly want, the gas grill was clean and nicely maintained. The fire-pit was a nice touch by the lake though it was too hot outside for a fire. Any issues that we did have were quickly addressed by our hosts. Honestly, the best VRBO we have every stayed in - and we loved it so much we want to come back every year on our anniversary. Thank you for an amazing stay!"

"Host was excellent! Breakfast was awesome...(especially the baked french toast.) We had two rooms and they both were nice! One bathroom was across the hall from the room but that did not hinder our stay at all. We felt like we were in a very private home. We will definitely stay there again if we are ever in the Alma area. "
