Anastasia Island home. Bike to downtown, beach and walk to amphitheater!
Newly remodeled open with lots of natural light 2 bedroom 2 full bath with double vanities and an open kitchen dinning room and Florida room with couch and futon for third sleeping area. Driveway can fit four cars off street parking. Driveway also has a 72 inch glass backboard basketball hoop. You are so close to all the action. Downtown, beaches, amphitheater, Alligator Farm, lighthouse, and Stewart's market are as close as you need to be without all the traffic and parking issues! The back yard is fenced all the way around with a fire pit, chairs and a hammock to help you relax... I'm actually in it right now writing all this (: If you love St Augustine this is the perfect location and home to experience it.
House was clean, well-appointed, and convenient to downtown St. Augustine. Chris was very accommodating.
TV viewing was made much easier with Alexis communication. We did not have to use the guide, just asked for our programs.
This house is super clean and comfortable. The owner is very gracious and kind. It is in a perfect, quiet location with easy access to beaches, Old Town, groceries, whatever you need. If you are coming for a concert at the Amp, you want to stay here. There are bikes available for the mile long ride, which will save you $$ and hassle on parking. Ride to the lighthouse for a fun outing. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. We would love the opportunity to stay here again. Thanks so much!
The property owner was very courteous, checking in with us via phone when we got there to make sure everything was okay, and same when leaving. There were all sizes of bikes and a wagon with sand toys to take to the beach with kids. Great stay.
The neighborhood was very friendly and quiet. The home made us feel very comfortable. The location was very centrally located around everything that we needed. The property manager went above and beyond and offered to help us if we needed any assistance in scheduling things. Our stay was amazing. Thank you The Kidwellâs
This was our favorite VRBO stay! We loved the house, the city and the host! We have never stayed in the same place twice as we love to travel, but we have already rebooked for next winter.
The house was very cute and conveniently located close to everything that we wanted to see and do while on vacation. Chris is an amazing host and was very accommodating to my familyâs needs. We would enjoy staying at this property again if we get the opportunity to visit St. Augustine in the future.
We enjoyed our stay at this home. Beds were comfy, layout was nice for staying with friends, enjoyed having the bikes to explore the area. Very quiet, nice neighborhood. Would recommend.
A sweet little place away from it all but close to everything! Itâs literally about 2 miles from the historic district. House was clean and on a quiet street. Big back yard!! Chris provided bikes for us to leave the car pared and bike around town. He had a basketball hoop to keep the kids happy and a hammock out back, too. We were rained out everyday so we didnât get to use the fire pit. Master bath has a rainfall shower head and the kitchen was fully stocked so we were able to cook when we wanted. The Florida room was the family hang out spot :) :) Chris was a great host!
We enjoyed the house. Was a little disappointed in the distance to the beach. We could not have ridden our bikes that far. Christoper was a pleasure, took care of everything and was always available if we needed anything. I would stay there again.
Amazing time in a beautiful, clean, and bright home. It was perfect for our family of 4.
we had a great stay and would rent again. The owner was very helpful and even helped us arrange surf lessons for our children. The home is kid-friendly, clean, and spacious. Plenty of linens, towels, bikes, and beach towels. The yard was great for a 4th of July bbq and the kids loved playing soccer and other games in the huge yard. The location was also super close to the beach. We could not have asked for a more accommodating and pleasant stay. We will definitely rent again when we return.
Comfortable and relaxing..... just what we needed!
My husband, daughter and I stayed here for a LONG weekend to attend a family wedding. We picked this house for the general proximity to the wedding event! We found so many more benefits to staying here upon arrival! We hardly drove anywhere as the house rental comes with access to several bikes and the proximity to "old town" is only a 5 minute bike ride away. There's also great beach access on Anastasia Island a short ride away, the Lighthouse, alligator farm and several bars and restaurants! I'm a bit of a health guru so Creative Juices became my daily habit!!! That only accounts for the places we saw on Anastasia Island. There's even more to see and do in Old Town St. Augustine! Meeting the owner and his amazing daughters was actually the highlight of the stay!!! It's pretty amazing what brings people together and just how small this big world is that we live in!! We were able to take advantage of the serene environment of the backyard using the relaxing hammock after several hours out and about on the bikes every day! This was our first trip to St. Augustine and we came away with new friends and a feeling of "being at home". As active as we were each day with exploring old town St. Augustine and attending the wedding festivities, we came away feeling refreshed and relaxed.... which is how all trips should be!! I know if we have a reason to revisit the area in the future who I will be contacting!!! Thanks CR! It was great meeting you, sharing your home and our funny encounters with nature!!!!
Me, my husband, and my in-laws rented this house for a long weekend. We have several family members in the area. The house was more perfect than we could imagine! Fully stocked with essentials and entertainment, very clean, and nicely updated. We will be making this place our go-to for visits!
The home was pretty much as it was described. The yard was large, well kept with fire pit and picnic table. The interior has been upgraded recently with very impressive bathrooms for each of the two rooms. The family room was large enough with a basket ball game that kept us amused during rainy Thanksgiving Day. The kitchen was nice and dining area had seating for 6.
The downside was we could not find a toaster to toaster oven, no gas grill( there was a George Forman electric grill but not really suitable for our grilling needs), no closet or dresser in master just a hanging bar and plastic 3 drawer box and we were charged $100 because there was some blood on a sheet. I understand this could be a problem if it doesnât come out but we have staid in hotels and other guest houses and this was never an issue. Not saying this was unreasonable but a surprise that you should be aware could happen. With the many other choices available in the area, donât think we will return.
