First impressions are everything and the property management sent several emails in advance of our stay which was extremely helpful. The guard at the gate was courteous and check in was a breeze.
The condo was adorable and spacious! We have stayed in places before where the pictures are very misleading. This was the opposite! The condo was fun and bright and updated. The view… oh my goodness… amazing view of the beach. We had more than enough space for my family (my husband is 6’4” and my teen son is almost 6’ and then my youngest and I, we all need space). I was hesitant being so close to the pool but they shut this one down by the condos at 9:00 pm so you don’t have the extra noise at night or early mornings.
The property… pickle ball, racketball, a basketball hoop to practice shooting or a good game of HORSE (not meant for a 1v1 game)… All in great condition. My husband worked out in the fitness center almost every day, I ran along the A1A and down by the beach. Morning walks for the sunrise brought were accompanied by friendly residents, vacationers and wildlife.
The beach was so clean. The sand was so soft. Chairs and umbrellas set out each day … you do not fight for beach space and the chairs are part of your stay compared to other beaches we’ve stayed at along the Gulf where you have to rent.
Downtown St. Augustine is a short drive away. Plenty of casual and family friendly places to eat OR stay in and cook in the condo or the on premises charcoal grill.
We will definitely be back and we will rent this same condo again.
