Wonderful location in a lovely, authentic historic neighborhood, Lincolnsville. Walking distance to downtown St. Augustine. The house was very roomy and provided nice amenities like complimentary ground coffee and tea. We enjoyed our stay and would return again and recommend to others.

Since it is centrally located in the old town, the house is old. It has been renovated, and it has many modern additions and amenities. It is surprisingly large with 5 bedrooms and 3 baths, which makes it a good value for a large family. It also has an adequate dining area. The kitchen is properly equipped, but it has no dishwasher and no garbage disposal in the sink. We cooked lightly and used paper plates. All in all, it is a good value. The owner answered promptly to all my questions.

The house served its purpose. Needs a little TLC and could be a great property. Sinks in bathroom backed up as well as the toilets had issues flushing. Unplugged a little black box in the kitchen to plug in the toaster and little bugs started coming out from around the kitchen sink. But once that black box was plugged in they went away. All in all it was a good house and did what we needed it too.

The location was an easy walk to Nights of Lights, historic downtown, etc. There was a great coffee and breakfast shop right around the corner which was perfect to start the mornings.

Check in was very easy. Location was within walking distance to downtown (about 10 minutes to the Lightner Museum walking leisurely) House was spacious and clean and had everything we needed for our stay. There are some areas with uneven flooring and steps down into the bathroom so maybe tricky for elderly or people needing wheelchair accessibility, but we had no problems with it. We really enjoyed our visit and will definitely stay there again.

We were happy with location it's on the hop ono off tram tour route. AC a big issue it was 86 degrees inside when we arrived. Owner knew their had been maint on AC asked us to insert a new filter upon arrival and turn on AC. AC ran nonstop for 3 days never got below 73 in the house. Needs some work. Outside needs attention not as pictured the chairs around firepit are dirty and moldy and sticks down everywhere but inside was nice and clean and nice amount of space for 4 women. One asked that a mattress pad be put over the plastic wrapped matress upstairs to make it a little less noisy and cooler to sleep on.

We had several issues with this property. First and foremost, our water was shut off on day 2. We left the house at 10am for brunch and when we returned at 7pm, the water had been shut off. No flushing toilets, no running water, no showers. Also, when we arrived, the towels had not been washed so that is the first thing I had to do. The outside of the property is in FAR worse condition than pictured. Do not rent if you are drawn to the outdoor patio, firepit or outside picnic table....they are falling apart and not clean. Location is nice - we were able to walk to and from making it a good location in nice weather if you don't want to drive and don't mind the other inconveniences. The neighbors are great, offering up their bathroom (How pathetic is that! To have to use the NEIGHBOR'S bathroom at a rental we were PAYING for!!!) The host refunded 300 which wasn't even a full nightly rate for the water situation, but honestly - it was not nearly representative of the inconvenience. Four of the adults couldn't stay without water and decided to drive home (fortunately we were less than a 2 hour drive), that left the 4 remaining adults to tolerate no water until we left the next morning. Not a single member of our party would recommend this rental based on our experience and I struggle to even recommend VRBO at all given they offered NO additional refund. Had we insisted on being relocated that night, a hotel would have easily been over 800.

This house is conveniently located to downtown and was roomy enough for our family of nine (plus one infant). The host was very nice and even ordered a pack and play for the house when I mentioned that we were coming with an infant. He was always responsive, though sometimes it would take several hours to hear back from him. The house could definitely benefit from some upkeep both inside and out. We had one issue which impacted our stay, but the host has offered to give us a partial refund to compensate for the inconvenience.

St. Augustine Visit

Lovely two story home nestled in a nice neighborhood close to the downtown St Augustine shops, etc and also close to US1. There are two bedrooms upstairs that share a bathroom as well as a lovely sitting room. The bathroom is rather small and does not have anywhere for soap, shampoo etc in the shower.  The two bedrooms downstairs each have their own bathrooms. Our visit was during an unusually cold snap and so we had to have the heat on.  We had a bit of a problem with the thermostat during the day. In the evening it seemed to be fine and was warm but during the day it was blowing cold air.   I did notify the owner. There were a couple of minor cleaning issues and we did notify the owner. There is a pantry area that was well stocked with anything you needed for cleaning trash bags etc and the kitchen was fully stocked as well.Although the description states that there's a washer and dryer.  Please note the washer and dryer is actually outside on the back deck.  Not very conducive for washing clothes, especially in inclement weather.Although we didn't use it, there are two outdoor sitting areas.  One has a fire pit and chairs.  The host was very pleasant to deal with and responded well to our suggestions about the home.
