"The very friendly and helpful owners, Jules and Michael, were always available and happy to chat throughout the booking process right up to the actual stay itself. You can certainly tell this is their own home from home. In every respect they have thought of just about everything, plus lots of little extras. Fans and air conditioning throughout (although the AC units are on cut-out timers which can be a bit of a pain). The whole place is clean and well-maintained inside and out. Jan the property manager was easy to contact and quick to respond to a couple of minor issues. The villa is spacious and sleeps up to eight, although we felt more than six might feel a little crowded, however to be fair the two of us had the whole place to ourselves, so that's very subjective The location is ideal, being under 15 minutes gentle stroll to any of the plentiful restaurants, beach bars, supermarket etc.Literally the one and only major issue for us is the traffic noise. Obviously this is not the owners' fault so does not in any way reflect on them, but the villa is sandwiched right between the main coastal highway and a back road that is used as a rat-run by locals avoiding the main road. Unfortunately we found the resulting noise very intrusive, and I guess this is the sacrifice one has to make to stay in this otherwise very relaxing, high quality, comfortable villa. With that one caveat we would heartily recommend Palm Tree Villa. We really loved it, and shall definitely return."

"Rooms were clean and spacious. Food was very good…they were able to accommodate severe allergies with one of our friends. Nightly entertainment was great and then night was finished in the piano bar. It would have been nice to have a pianist every night instead of just music. Bars and bartenders were awesome….but the main bars closed at roughly 10:30 which meant you had to go to piano bar for a drink instead of sitting outside. Spa was very relaxing. Recreation team were top notch. Special shoutout to Rohan, Vembe, Mia and GM Caroline! "

"Perfect location for us - very close walk to Massy’s for groceries, the beach, bus stops, and local restaurants. Made it easy to go out on safe routes for morning runs, and nighttime was very quiet and peaceful. The security of the entrance gave us absolutely no worries at all as we slept through the night. The most comfortable bed I’ve ever had on any vacation. Always had cold AC for sleeping, hot water for showers and cooking. We had absolutely zero complaints. We would certainly book again. "
