"We had a wonderful stay at Palm Tree Villa. From the very start the hosts are open extremely helpful and accommodating, all ensuring we had the best possible stay. Regular communication even doing a spot of ‘essentials’ shopping for our arrival was offered as we arrived on a Bank Holiday.Palm Tree Villa is perfectly located in Holetown, close to the beach, great restaurants, and convenient bus routes also has a super Coffee Shop two minutes around the corner. Cafe Carizma at the Chattel Village 10 minutes also do a fabulous breakfast. The villa itself is beautifully maintained tastefully decorated and extremely well equipped — it has everything (and more) you could possibly need while on holiday.The rooms are spacious, and the seating areas downstairs made it very comfortable for our group of seven. The pool, garden, and BBQ area are all kept immaculate. We felt completely safe during our stay and enjoyed the best nine nights in Barbados.Evenings were spent eating out, having BBQs, and playing games, (we loved catch phrase) and just a short walk to the beach to bring in the New Year. Whilst bathing in the garden we met the hummingbird and the my girls loved seeing the Monkeys out and about. The information book we found very informative and maintenance were responsive when we had a query. Would we visit again … Absolutely….We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! "Calm, Restful, SupportedIf I could give more stars for owner and on site staff communications and support, I would love to. Too complicated to explain but on 2 occasions prior to our holiday our plans were compromised for reasons outside our control and nothing to do with the owner. However, on both occasions, Tina’s communications were not only very responsive but went way beyond what we could have hoped for or expected and, it’s no exaggeration to say, rescued our special family Christmas vacation for which we will forever be grateful. Also, on the day of check in our arrangements were again upended for unforeseen circumstances and Tricia and Kay, onsite, also went out of their way to assist us.Villa Alcoutri itself is calm, restful, homely and bright. Just what we needed. Beautifully clean and comfortable, great AC throughout, the villa has every facility and accessory anyone would need. The beach club is an amazing bonus too. It is walkable to all the nearby facilities as other reviewers state. Though as British septogenarians with a few health conditions, not used to temperatures in the high 20’s and 30’s the little car we hired was just perfect to tootle around the local area. The guest handbook at the villa is also packed full of useful and very interesting information about the area and the island.We are very happy to recommend not only Villa Alcoutri but also particularly the owner, the booking process and especially communications."
