"Absolutely great place to stay!! Location is conveniently close to things , didn’t have to drive too far out of our way for anything. We felt so cozy and comfy , whatever it was the comfy beds or the cozy fire pit out back. The house was super clean & accommodating. Jack & Lindy really out done themselves with this one. They made sure everything you need is there. We traveled with our dog & they offered a tie out if needed. The Mickelson Trail is right out back as well. It was nice walk in the morning & evening. We cannot wait to be back!!!"

"This was, by far, the CLEANEST place I’ve ever stayed!!! The views from the deck were amazing! The hot tub was soooo awesome!!! WiFi was good for texting and some surfing but not necessarily for streaming. However, staff was very prompt to come check on it! We were there during the off season so it was super quiet and peaceful ♥️ We loved seeing all the deer and bunny rabbits!! "

"We enjoyed this cozy cabin on our recent visit to the Black Hills. The location is perfect with a short drive to Hill City, Keystone, Custer and Mt. Rushmore. It has lovely views with access to a beautiful trail which we hiked. It’s quiet, clean and had ample room for our family gathering. Highly recommend!"

"Papa's Place is stunning! It is our new home away from home with gorgeous views. The house is very comfortable and spacious with ALL of the extra amenities you could think of and then some. There was space for everyone and all the things they brought. We appreciated the details, love, and care put into this place. It truly is a place one can relax and not worry about anything! Two kitchens and laundry rooms made it a breeze to keep everyone full and clean! We enjoyed the board games, game room area and cool kids closet! We reveled in the gorgeous cool weather and the last day a light snow dusting! Lots of lawn space for kids to enjoy and watch the bunnies hop around. Location is close to great food and activities are within short distances. Mt. Rushmore, Needle Highway, Custer State Park, Crazy Horse and Mammoth site are 30-45 minutes away and Devil's Tower and Badlands National Park are about two hours either direction. The drives to and from are gorgeous! We will definitely be back to this beautiful place soon. Thank you to the hosts who were amazing and responsive! I just can't say enough about Papa's Place!"
