"We had a wonderful time! The cabin is comfy and cozy. It was clean and well maintained. The property owner was very knowledgeable and friendly.There is a big red truck that is parked on the property that we realized was there to keep a boat from being taken but it threw us off a little when we first arrived. "

"This was our 2nd stay, the first time 2 years ago we enjoyed the stay so much that we invited our family, the grand kids loved the river, could not keep them from enjoying the chilling experience of wading and exploring it.Tubing in the river was a big hit.The fire pit was perfect to enjoy smores and comradery of family time, everything was properly provided, our 2 grand boys wanted to camp out and they were able to do it. This is the best place to enjoy the area. "

"The property is listed as 5 bedrooms and there are only 3. Also listed as having a kitchen island which did not exist and listed as being on a river and it was not. The property was up a steep hill and had a high view of a river but was not close to the river at all. The kitchen was not very clean and all of the dishes, glassware, utensils, and pots/pans/baking items had to be cleaned prior to use which is extremely disappointing seeing as there was a significant cleaning fee paid. Lights on the porches as well as in several of the ceiling lights did not work or were completely missing bulbs. Another concern was a safety concern with the hot tub. There was a plastic step that was used to step out of the hot tub and down to the patio which was not very sturdy and someone in our party fell when the step slide out from under him. We did have a great time with our family but I would never book this property again and am very disappointed with our experience. The property is, however, in a great location and close to a lot of activities. I would suggest finding another property if you are at all concerned with cleanliness. "

"This was our second year at the River Estate at Toccoa and we had another amazing stay. This place is perfect for grandparents, children, spouses, and grandkids to get away. There’s plenty of room. The heated hot tub pool and sauna were perfect when the weather was a bit chilly. The house was well stocked. Having two refrigerators upstairs in the kitchen was a nice addition and helpful for those doing meal prep. There are lot of local hikes and if course there is the river for tubing. We can’t commend this place enough."
