This was a great hotel, in a very central location of Toronto. It was a little walk to the train station but everything else was just a short waɔk away, including Eaton Center. Unfortunately, this hotel only has one restaurant and a coffee/Liquor bar but there are breakfast options nearby.

I’m really disappointed because the listed distances to nearby landmarks are completely inaccurate. This is the second time I’ve booked a hotel expecting it to be within walking distance of a landmark, only to find out it was much farther away. Very frustrating and misleading.”

Loved our stay at the Sherton. Room was great and the staff pleasant and helpful. The outside was one the main reasons we selected this hotel and it met our expectations, the gym was impressive possibly the best hotel gym we have had access to.

Very nice and clean hotel, with tons of amenities in it. Didn't get to enjoy them! Check-in time was not realistic. Requested an early check-in due to attending a concert, was told they would call when a room was ready. Waited 2 hours, returned to the desk a little after 3:00pm (3:00 is the listed check-in time) and was told there were still no rooms ready and they did not know when one would come available. Was advised by front desk staff to use the washroom in the lobby to get ready and offered a $100 credit. This was very frustrating, especially when you are paying over $1000 for the night. Half of our party went to the washroom in the lobby to start getting ready, I approached another worker walking through the lobby and inquired about the check-in times and why the hotel was not prepared for the influx of rooms needed. Not only was there concerts happening but TIFF was this weekend as well. The staff member was very empathetic towards our situation and validated our frustration (along with many other patrons waiting for their rooms) requested ID and within 10 minutes we had keys to a room. I understand that some things are out of staff's control, however, knowing that one of Toronto's largest festivals was happening that weekend along with two large concerts, they should have been a little more prepared. Once in the room, we noticed that the air conditioner was not working, we called down, they sent someone to look at it and there was no resolution to this issue.

We arrived later in the day and were given room 724. We came for a concert the next day. as soon as we got to the room we noticed a train sound I guess it was a service elevator. I have never heard this kind of sound in a hotel room before. we went back to the desk immediately and asked to be changed which I have never done before. we were told the hotel was sold out and they could switch us tomorrow if we liked but that the elevator stopped at 11 pm so we were ok with it. we were given a credit for food when we asked. the elevator did not stop at 11 it went all night and started very early in the morning. the concert was the next day and we spent close to 2 thousand dollars on tickets, we were exhausted for the show. I had booked two hotels and had cancelled the second one due to the reviews for the Sheraton and i thought the location would be better, I wish I had chosen the other one We didn't bother changing rooms the next day as there was a big line up at the desk whenever we were in the lobby as it was a busy weekend. We referred to the room as the train room, we visit Toronto often and this was my first bad experience with a hotel in the area. I also booked this room almost a year in advance, we did arrive in the evening but did not expect that to effect the room we received. We also complained to reception at checkout but they offered nothing in the way of compensation which I found surprising given the price of the stay...

Very good experience. All staff was also very accommodating when any questions were asked. The in-hotel restaurant Dual Citizen was also great and room service delivery option was great!

The hotel was very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing. However I did get stuck in the elevator for a couple minutes and the phone in the room did not work properly. Overall a super place to stay.
