Frustrating parking, great pool!

The pool area was perfect for our stay with family as we were visiting our daughter in college. The rooms were clean but we did miss having a microwave to reheat leftovers and real creamers for coffee. The reason for our lower review is due to the parking situation. We paid $21 a day to have the unlimited in/out of the parking garage that is attached to the hotel but the key did not work the entire duration of our visit despite it being "fixed" no less than six times. We ended up having to get help from the valet attendees every time we wanted to leave the garage, which was a waste of time and frustrating. The rooftop pool was a plus and the workout room was well equipped. We like hotels that allow our son to work out with us.

The pictures online and on the website do not match the actual hotel. They must be older pictures from when the hotel was newer. They had a broken light just floating in the pool. The beds weren’t that comfortable and the shower in our bathroom wasn’t very clean. Also have still not been refunded out temporary hold for accidentals.

The hotel is very nice. The price was much more than we typically pay for a room, but it wasan important weekend for my daughter and I wanted to ensure that she was extra comfortable. Things that surprised me, plan to have a $50/day hold on a card for incidentals and to pay $21/ day for self parking. The parking garage and elevators are not used only by Hyatt guests. One evening when we were leaving, the elavator had been peed in. It was cleaned up when we came back to the hotel, but that smell was awful. Breakfast is also self pay order from a restaurant, and the rooms do not have microwaves.
