Staff was friendly, and room (king suite) was well sized, however it was freezing when we arrived. The heat had not been turned on, even knowing someone was going to use the room. We cranked the heat in both rooms, but even after returning a number of hours later, it was still uncomfortable. Fortunately, we found a space heater in the closet, and with that and closing the bedroom door, it finally warmed up. I'm not sure it would have if it was a larger room. Additionally, we never managed to get 1 TV working, and the other one had to be unplugged to reset every time we wanted to use it.

It’s a nice Inn with approachable staffs. Unless you have car to bring in this place, it’s fine. Quite far from Parliament and popular spots so i would rather stay in downtown central area for easy access by walking.

Expedia reserved a room for me with 2 beds, upper floor. The reception clerk switched me to a room below ground level with a single bed, claiming it was the same room classification. I believe it was highly intentional after noticing I was travelling alone. Expedia should know their reservation was NOT honoured . I did NOT feel he gave me any choice . I was, in fact, cheated.

The room, kitchenette and bathroom were good. The only issue is the noise. Passage noise becausd the room doors are too thin and we could hear everything 2 doors up. Clearly. The walls are thin too. Everything was clean and the staff were all helpful.

Kitchen well stocked. The elevator was a bit smelly from the restaurant but did not go to the hallway. It was nice that the elevator only went to the 4th floor though! Bed and bedding very comfortable. The jacuzzi was not working.

Stayed 1 week here before and everything was great again! Helpful and friendly staff, very clean room, good kitchen for the few days we were here. Plus laundry room with machines only 2$ each, very helpful and much appreciated! Convenient location and easy parking. Would def stay again and recommend :)

Good location about a10 minute commute to the Victoria waterfront. There’s a Sports bar attached to the hotel which was right in my wheelhouse as the Blue Jays were playing in the ALDS against the Yankees. There’s also a Chinese restaurant on the property. I’d definitely stay there again

Check in and check out was efficient. We loved our room, very comfortable beds marble floors, efficient kitchen area. Staff was lovely. A cab ride to the downtown waterfront was 11 to 14 dollars. The immediate area has a shopping center, A&W across the street. We had a great time. I will stay here again and I recommend it to anyone coming to Victoria.

The Red Lion was an excellent option for me for 3 night stay. I booked a suite with kitchen and full size fridge. I only interacted with staff at chexk in amd checkout and they were very nice. The room was clean amd peovided extra blanket/pillow & a heater. One observation, the walls are paper thin, you can hear someone sneeze in the other room next to you.

We liked the queen studio with kitchenette room. It worked well for us. There were lots of areas to park. We did find there were a few shifty looking people around the exterior of the building and that made us a little uncomfortable.
