Staying with Ted and Lauren was an absolute delight. Some of the reviews are false and very misleading. If you took the time to read the policy before entering the home you'll know you have to enter through the garage and change into a clean slippers which I know are clean because I seen them washing them myself. The house is very quiet and the views are unbelievable yes there was a small dog but again if you read the policy before renting you will know that. The breakfast is included and yes it is the same everyday but you don't have to cook it so I complain about it. Its a delicious filling breakfast.

The hosts were friendly and the property was clean. I was surprised at how many rooms this place had. We had our own bathroom thankfully but most rooms shared with one other. Slippers are provided. The outdoor area has some very nice views
The house itself is older and I think there are some renovations that are needed. Things are looking old and run down and had a musty smell overall.
A lot of noise from other guests, no parties but literally just conversation. The walls are thin.
Small dog on site. Very friendly but just goes anyplace she likes. Some people may not like that.
Breakfast was 8:30am and the same thing is served each day. 1 fresh croissant, 1 egg, 1 potato wrapped in bacon and some fried veggies. Also came with a small bowl of fruit with yogurt on top. Tea and coffee. Second helpings were not offered.
The strangest thing to me was that the side door to the home is left unlocked 24/7. I realize this is easier but a keypad really should be installed here.
lovely views. breakfast ok-same every day but they dont ask how you want your eggs ,had to ask for jam portions small. no refills. communication difficult as english is not the hosts native tongue. short on pillows and when we asked for an extra one were told yes but never received one. parking a bit tricky down the driveway. 10 rooms for guests with hosts upstairs who were up at 4am walking about. wouldnt stay here again polite but not welcoming or warm
The hosts are very polite and attentive. Rooms are fine but bed was very soft. You share a bathroom with one other guest but did not seem to be a problem. The bathroom was spotless with extra clean towels if you needed them. Good value for the price which includes a hardy breakfast at 8:30 AM sharp!!
I have never stayed at a B&B, but I would definitely stay here again and again! In fact I have extended my stay another month!
The owners, Ted and Lauren are such beautiful souls and their hospitality is simply outstanding! They are so accommodating and dedicated to ensuring that their guests have a wonderful experience!
The view from the home of Mount Baker on a clear day is absolutely breathtaking And you would not get that staying in Victoria where the buildings would block your view.
The breakfast that is provided every morning is delicious and lovingly prepared by Ted and Lauren.
A walk down to the lagoon is close by and Hatley Castle as well. If you like nature there are trails close by as well.
Public transit is not too bad if you do not have a vehicle to get into Victoria proper. The buses are pretty much on time and it will take you approximately 1 hour to get into town and even that trip can be somewhat scenic.
So if you ever want to visit Vancouver Island, Colwood just outside of Victoria is not a bad alternative if you don't want to pay the high hotel rates during tourist season that Victoria demands.
Lovely and hospitable hosts!! Loved meeting the other guests and sharing tourist ideas over breakfast. Delicious breakfast and very homey living situation.

We stayed in luxury suite #21. 5stars for the view. Beautiful sunrises and plated breakfast. Be aware the private bathroom for this suite is outside the room, in a shared hallway. Bring a robe. Not suitable for a romantic getaway. Communication was just ok and no one greeted us upon arrival so it was a little awkward. This is an old style bed and breakfast, where you walk through the home to get to your room upstairs.
The view from this hillside location is exceptional in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Home cooked breakfast was delicious and hosts were welcoming. Shared bathrooms and slippers must be worn inside the house. Parking on property is very tight but there is space across the street. I would recommend this property
