There were a few spider webs in the house and wasp nests by the doors, but you canât beat the location. The directions given were great and very helpful. We took my truck so the road to get there didnât bother us. The self check in was easy and everything went smoothly. The hot tub was AWESOME! The were dishes were a little dirty, but the towels and sheets were very clean. Oven and stove worked great, as did the washing and laundry machine. Definitely would come back!
The property is beautiful! Very quiet. We loved our time spent there. The drive into Hochatown and Beaver Bend is short. We played some of the board games on site, cooked smores in the fire pit, grilled on the back deck, and soaked in the hot tub. Loved sitting outside in the evening and listening to the beautiful sounds of nature. The home was adequately stocked with everything you would need! I would have to agree with some of the other reviews regarding that the queen bed needs to be updated. We started out on the queen and moved into the smaller bed the next night. Still not good sleeping for two adults. Our grandaughter slept great in her full size bed. lol We will definitley be visiting again soon!
Went on a babymoon with my husband. The cabin was clean and lovely, and the location scenic and private. It is difficult to find, which wasn't an issue for us because we wanted to get off the grid, just make sure to print maps and check-in directions before you go as there's no service in the area. We had 2 main issues. One was the mattress is so old it's unusable. We had to sleep on the couch. For over 300/night I expect a functional bed. Another reviewer mentioned this over 2 years ago and it still hasn't been replaced. The other problem was the hot tub. When we tried to use it for the second time there was a foil odor. The guestbook said there was disinfectant to use but there was none. Disappointing because the hot tub was the main reason we booked. Beware that while a hot tub is advertised, it may not be working.
The house was beautiful! The back deck was perfect for the dog and kids. Very quiet and relaxing. Recommend for anyone who wants to be near the action but not right in it!
The property is located about 35 minutes outside of Broken Bow. The canin has three separate bedrooms, a bathroom and a large open living room/kitchen. The back porch is massive with a hot tub and grill. The back of the property opens up and has a large pond. The front of the house has a horseshoe game setup. There is a fire pit with chairs to the left of the house. The property is off the beaten path so it is quiet and a great getaway spot to just relax. There is Wifi if needed. I would suggest driving a vehicle that is not too low to the ground as the terrain to get to the cabin can be a little rough. Overall, it is a great value and I would highly recommend.
