Tent-like room in garden
Publié le 12 août 2018 sur HotelsMy room was a small hut in a garden, size of a small tent, not very comfortable but also nice in a way. I think the description mentioned toiletries but there was no towel or soap/shampoo provided.

It was our first time in the Philippines & despite mixed reviews I decided that a stay at Treasure Isle would be all about the people & the experiance! We were not to be dissapointed. Of the 5 places we stayed our time with Nick & Alma & their lovely boys was by far the most memorable. Daily entertainment was provided by Noah & Ernie whilst John laid on the charm! From our tour of The Hundred Islands to home cooked meals & advice on where to go next, we were looked after, made to feel welcome & part of the family from start to finish. We only wished we could have stayed longer. This is not the place for 5* luxury but if you like your travel experiances to be real then this is for you. Nick we miss your caustic humour & Alma dinner out will never be forgotten! A big thank you to the whole family & love & luck for the future. Clare & Elah hope to see you again soon. 💕

It is definitely more of a camping experience than a hotel. The staff was not overly friendly but did help to arrange a boat trip for us. If all you need is a small bed to sleep in this is the place but if you want anything more than that I don't recommend it.

it is amazing, if you decide to give bad review you do it "anonymous" why? you scared of the lies.
1st YES we are a nature style guest house as our pictures show, and often people do camp here.
2nd we NEVER said or advert we are a "hotel" we are a native style guest house with our own rating of 1 to 1.5 stars.
3rd we treat all guest all guest as family. unless your attitude prohibits this warm gesture
4th, our beds are standard size, most are double bed size, 48" fine for 2 plus persons. if you want king size, a place down the road offers, (at about P4,000. a night.
we are a budget place. DON'T BOOK IF YOU WANT 5 STAR place,
but we give 5 star service & food!

Pour : the ambiance, especially where the mini cottages are
Contre : a generator should be on standby just in case of brownouts. this would be very important during summer time when temperatures are really hot
Emplacement : near lucap port, jump off point for the hundred islands
It was unfortunate that during our 1 night stay in the area, there was a brownout (not the hotel's fault anyway). But what made our stay memorable were the cute mini cottages where my students stayed, and the friendly staff and kids of the owners Nick and Alma.

thanks for your insight. we do not normally have blackouts at night and if we do it last just a few min. sorry for that. thanks for staying with us, do our best to provide our best for our new family members.

Probably better sleeping in the car

Anyway the room was basically a tiny little hut that you couldn't even stand up in and the mattress didn't look that clean.
I need to give them the benefit of the doubt because I didn't end up staying there.
I noticed that the place was also up for sale.

thanks for booking with us, yes as our pictures show most of our rooms are native hut styles. just as our pictures show. when you book the lowest place in town you cannot expect 5 star, which by the way most of our guest give us after staying here.
yes the place is up for sale as i have M.S. and breast cancer, and we are just to busy for us to handle.
just because our place is not to YOUR liking giving us a bad review is not fair, as you said you not even stay here, in the end you got the room you booked for. and if you gave us half a chance, you may have had a GREAT time.
