The room was clean and comfortable with plenty of space. There was a good selection of tea and coffee and soap, shower gel etc. The pub and restaurant attached was fantastic and the food really lovely. We will definitely stay again

Paid extra for a superior suite which was right over the front door which wasn’t working properly so slammed every time someone went in or out and didn’t close properly at night so anyone had access to the hotel. There was a fight between drunken wedding guests outside our room at 1:30am no staff on duty at night so just had to put up with it. Fire alarm went off again no staff on duty called the emergency number which just went to voicemail which is really useful in an emergency guests didn’t have a clue what to do or where to go. Paid nearly £200 for my worst nights sleep ever and wouldn’t recommend

It's such a lovely spot and the room was spacious, super clean and with a view out to the lovely surrounding area. The bed was also very comfy and the pillow too, and this from someone who is princess and the pea with her pillows! I also got a really great rate for my one night stay.
