Mixed feelings about this one. Pool was shut down for maintenance and elevator was broken. We were only on second floor so no big deal. Room furnishings were worn and stained. Nice staff and quiet, no hi way noise. Just has an old and tired feel to it.

Elevator was broken with was less than ideal after a day of travel. The hotel has a funky smell and the room seemed old and dirty. This would not be my 1st choice if back in that area. The hotel is in need of upgrading the rooms to remove the stained carpet.

The hotel was under partial construction at the time. It disrupted the use of the pool, and maybe some of the amenities for others but in the middle of the winter, it really doesn’t matter. The staff was very nice from the nice gentleman who checked me in to the folks, serving breakfast and cleaning the facilities in the morning. The breakfast provisions were very tasty and the food was fresh. The room was spacious and clean. It had a spa tub which is a nice feature if you want to soak away your pain from too much activity. I didn’t necessarily feel smarter because I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express, but I got a good night’s sleep.

The only issue I had was when the pipe burst on the 3rd floor. No one told us that it happened until I was in the shower and the water was shut off. I has soap on me and couldn’t rinse off. I wouldn’t of gotten in the shower if they would off called the room.
