Charming, Spacious Haven

We absolutely loved this place! Tons of living space and areas to relax and enjoy. The property is nice and private. We enjoyed a couple of fires complete with s’mores! Our kids loved having their own rooms and space to unwind. Prior to visiting, we had contact with the property manager and they were very accommodating, providing several pictures of the kitchen so we knew what to pack. I would have given 5 stars but the dryer wasn’t working, the kitchen faucet leaked, and the bed in the master was very squeaky. The property manager was very willing to have it looked at while we were there but we declined. We would stay here again.

We were able to replace both the tap and the dryer shortly after your visit. I wasn’t aware the master bed was “squeaky”. I’ll have a look at it to prepare for our future guests. Ive never left a bad review before, but decided this needed to be said so no one else has the same experience. Myself, my spouse, and my two year old daughter rented this house for 4 nights. I state: two people to stay as I didn’t think my two year counted as another person to be charged extra for. I messaged the owner let them know the beds were SO uncomfortable, it was like sleeping on plywood, and there was mold in the coffee machine, and only 3 towels for us for the whole 4 days we were there, no dishwasher soap, no extra paper towel or rags to clean counters with, no tinfoil for the BBQ, oven mits, or really much of anything. I let her kindly know only because if I was running a business I would want to know so I could do better for next time. I didn’t want or ask for anything in return. I thought the conversation went really well! We are originally from the area and were there visiting family and friends. We kept it very tame as I’m pregnant, had a four friends over for dinner one night and my mom over just for dinner. A couple stayed the night as they got too intoxicated with dinner and I didn’t want them driving. They left early am. just to A few days later, I get an email saying we had more people staying there (which we didnt) and proceeded to call me a liar, and threatened to kick us 3 out. I have never been treated so poorly by a rental before. I wouldnt stay in this place again because of the uncomfortable beds alone, but they treat their guests horribly.

Sleeping accomodation not as advertised. Pictures show bunk beds and single bed in one room. No bunk beds

Hey James, Thank you for providing your feedback, here at Eagle Ridge Stays we provide three bedrooms accommodation. Two large bedrooms with queen beds and a smaller bedroom with a single bed. We have never had bunk beds and as such would not be able to advertise with photos and description based on VRBO policy. Did you perhaps made a mistake with another listing that may have bunk beds? Please take a moment to review the photos on the site and the description of the bedrooms. Please let me know if you have any questions. Looking forward to your response. - Cheers
