We had the best time staying here while on the island for a wedding. The cottage was the perfect size for two couples and while we weren’t there much, we enjoyed waking up to coffee overlooking the lake and watching the sun set over the water

Tried to get some money back ended up with covid never went

First off, it wasn't all bad. The location and the view were great. Here's where we had problems: 1) It wasn't fully cleaned when we arrived. Bathroom mirror was dirty, crumbs on the counter, dirty smudges on the doors... and it didn't seem like it had been deep cleaned in a long time. 2) The heaters in the bathroom and the laundry room didn't work 100% of the time. The bathroom light would flicker and it took a bit for it to stay on. 3) The kitchen wasn't well stocked either. The biggest problem we had was that our 5 year old accidently locked us out of one of the bedrooms. It was 6pm when this happened and I texted the contact number right away. It took until 2:30pm the NEXT DAY for the local office to get back to us to see if we were able to get into the room. Luckily, we were able to get the door lock picked ourselves, but the wait time was ridiculous. Because of these reasons, we don't think we'll be renting again with Vacasa.
