Cabin in the Woods - 10 minutes to Bartlesville
Our guest cabin is set on 20 wooded acres in the Osage Hills at the end of a private gravel road. It feels completely isolated, but it's only 10 minutes to downtown Bartlesville, 20 minutes to Pioneer Woman's Merc, and an hour to Tulsa. There is a full kitchen, living area, and full bath on the ground floor, with a queen and twin bed on the 2nd floor. There is no TV to interfere with the quiet, although WiFi keeps you connected. We live in the main house and are always available if needed. The cabin is adjacent to the main house but seems very secluded. The front porch and 2nd-floor deck look out on the woods, and the back side is separated from the main house by trees. While walking in the woods, you may scare up a deer or two, or perhaps a few turkeys with their young following behind. The area is known for its bird-watching, so grab the binoculars and bird book (provided in the cabin) on your walk and see what you can find.
Don and Sharon were very accommodating to our stay and check in time, I'll plan on staying here for future trips. The air conditioning/heater worked great, good water pressure, and lighting. Very neat antique items around the cabin, felt just like another trip to grandmas house.
We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The cabin was so quaint and comfy. Loved the privacy. Would have stayed longer if we could have. Would definitely love to come back sometime.
The host was very attentive. The weather was getting bad the day my husband checked in. They made sure he was comfortable. Any questions we had were answered very quickly. I had issues with trying to pay for the re-booking. The Host was extremely helpful, however Customer Support was awful! They seriously need to work on that!
Very nice cabin as advertised. Everything was very clean and organized. All was quiet and peaceful. I wonât hesitate reserving it again. The hosts Sharon & Don were nice, accommodating, and helpful.
We loved the cabin in the woods.
We loved sitting on the front porch in the evenings. The cabin was decorated perfectly, you felt like you walked into a museum.
The host was great.
They had goats and a pig.
Highly recommend the cabin in the woods!
Don and Sharon were terrific hosts. The cabin was very safe and comfortable. We loved that even though it was far enough away from city lights to have a stunning view of the night sky, it is
still very close to both Bartlesville and Pawhuska.
comfortable and
The property was out of the way, but not too far. It didn't take long to return to civilization and conveniences. The atmosphere was quiet and quaint, which is just what the doctor ordered.
This cabin was a perfect stay for our weekend getaway while we were treasure hunting! We pulled an enclosed trailer with us and Don and Sharon were very accommodating and helpful with parking. They are wonderful hosts. We will definitely stay again!
My husband and myself enjoyed our four day stay. Itâs a very quiet and secluded surprise as close to town as it is, and we enjoyed the peace and serenity. We will be coming back sometime.
Don and Sharon have developed a beautiful space for someone looking to find solitude and quiet or a small bunch to feel at home surrounded by nature. Their rustic two story cabin is at the end of a winding driveway back in the oak timber. If that isnât enough, less than twenty minutes of scenic driving brings you to fine dining and all the socializing and shopping you might want. During my stay I enjoyed the fantastic food and friendly staff at the Crossing 2nd restaurant fifteen minutes away in Bartlesville. I enjoyed a vigorous hike and sunrise along the surrounding wooded paths. One afternoon I took a 5 minute drive to explore Hudson lake. The cabin has a full kitchen, upstairs balcony, and plenty of comfortable quiet places. Top shelf for comfort, convenience and my personal standard, price. Amazing place!!
We had a wonderful time at the Cabin in the Woods. Don met us when we arrived with a bowl of tomatoes from their garden. He gave us helpful tips of what to see and where to go. The Cabin was as described. Well appointed kitchen if you are inclined to cook, which I did. Lovely house full of antiques and things of interest to look at and read. Had coffee outside and met their sweet dog who sat and visited with us. Very convenient to Bartlesville and a short drive to Pawhuska to see the Pioneer Woman town. We also visited the Tall Grass Prairie and watched thousands of buffalo. Highly recommend this listing.
