Heading south-east, the thriving town of Okehampton (13.5 miles) marks the gateway to the magnificent Dartmoor National Park, with miles of breathtaking walking and cycling trails to follow. To the west, Bude (15 miles) is one of Cornwall’s most popular resorts with glorious beaches and a wide range of amusements. Other local attractions include Roadford Lake, Dingles Fun Park, and Tamar Lakes Activity Centre (all within 14 miles).
Entering this fantastic single-level lodge, the welcoming open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner provides a fresh and airy space for you all to get together and unwind after a great day exploring Devon. Light streams in through the bi-fold doors and into the inviting lounge which features a Smart TV and sumptuous seating. The central dining table is perfect for family meals and can be converted into a games table for more competitive guests to play table tennis, pool or table football. The thoughtfully organised kitchen has plenty of equipment for preparing your favourite dishes. Exploring this charming lodge further, the hallway leads off to three cosy bedrooms, each with a Smart TV for lazy mornings. You will have a choice between a relaxing double bedroom with its own en-suite shower room, a cheerful twin room which can be made up as a king-size on request, and a spacious family room with a double bed and additional bunkbeds to sleep an extra two. The accommodation also offers a refreshing family bathroom.
Stepping outside, there’s a large garden with a generous lawn and a patio which runs the length of the property. The patio has a choice of outdoor furniture, with a dining area perfect for a summer BBQ. An additional patio area is home to a private hot tub for you to luxuriate in on starry nights. Guests will also benefit from private parking for up to five cars.
