Spent 1 night here with family and we all enjoyed it. Staff were very friendly and our kids loved the pool, restaurant and the Penguin show.

Didn’t realise bedrooms were upstairs and bathrooms downstairs having very bad arthritis I’m sometimes unable to climb up and down stairs
Spoke to the manager and he advised us we had a sofa bed in the room l could use and arranged for housekeeping to bring some extra bedding to our unit
Nothing was too much trouble for them

Diamond Island Resort has very clean and spacious rooms , an expansive well kept green space and only minutes walk from the beach and Diamond Island to explore. We were lucky enough to see two baby penguins and one adult penguin

Our stay included penguin viewing. The gate wasn’t opened after the one hour so we didn’t see the penguins! Very disappointing.

Beautiful location but there are a few downsides
Publié le 17 janv. 2024 sur HotelsThe location of the resort is wonderful and we had an amazing view from our balcony. The unit was also very spacious. We had dinner at the resort which was very good. The downsides were the room is dated with minimal furnishings but the bed was very comfortable. Also significantly, the phrase Penguin tour is a bit misleading. We stand on a platform on the resort’s grass and hope Penguins come up to the platform area. We are not permitted to enter the beach area where other paid tours go. We stood on the platform 2 nights and never saw a Penguin. If you don’t care about seeing the penguins, it is still a lovely location to stay in. The pool area looks clean and nice too and the views are wonderful.
