Extremely Disappointed

Before we check out this morning, I wanted to send you a detailed outline of the issues with this rental. -upon our 5pm arrival on Friday, 1/19- we walked into the house to multiple bags of trash (these bags of trash can now be found in the pantry in Kitchen). -There were dirty dishes in the sink and dirty dishes in the dish washer. -Bathrooms had previous guests tooth paste/ spit dried on the counters and in the sink. Hair was visible in all the bathrooms. -towels were placed in the washer by previous guests however, they were never moved to the dryer so they had a profound mold/ musty stench to them. -all the beds had hair on the sheets, beds were not made, and bedding was on the floor/tangled on the bed. -the rugs throughout the entire unit are significantly dirty (food on them, dirt on them etc.) . We wanted to vacuum but there is no vacuum in the unit. -the exhaust vent on the grill on the deck has beeped excessively our entire stay, and the light flickered constantly. The fan also was running nonstop. It kept the guests staying in the master bedroom up both nights. -There were NO trash bags in the unit. -There were a limited amount of pods for the washing machine. - There was no toilet paper in the master bathroom. - There were no paper towels in the unit. On Friday I called 1 (800) 544-0300 three times: 5:11pm, 5:40pm and 5:59pm. -At 5:11pm someone answered my call and they told me they would get ahold of a local person and I would hear back in 15 minutes.

TERRIBLE checked out 3 DAYS early.

Would you take the pots and skillet to your home and cook for YOUR FAMILY, and also try to sleep on the guest bed, plus the grill has rusted and does not cook, we called ever day, NOTHING was corrected, so I wish you well, NEVER AGAIN.

Will Be Back!

We had a wonderful stay. The condo was very clean, well stocked (including a pack n play for the baby!) and was very cozy - perfect for a holiday visit. We enjoyed the indoor pool when it was a rainy day, and there was even a open hill for my son to sled on. The beds were VERY comfortable, as was the furniture in general - unlike many vacation rentals. The only thing I wish I was made more aware was that the location was at the very top of the mountain. We lucked out with weather but had there been ice or snow I would not have wanted to travel those roads. Overall, highly recommend!

Unit had not been cleaned

Arrived on check in day right at 4:00, planning to stay 2 nights. Home had not been cleaned. Dirty sheets and bedspreads waded on bed. Dirty towels in the sink. Nothing had been cleaned. Called and texted and got multiple calls and text back from different numbers. They asked twice for 'pictures' to prove unit had not been cleaned. Said they didn't get pics from first time. On the phone and texting until 4:30 and the response we got was - 'May we send someone out to look at the unit'. I said, yes, but we are leaving as we need to find another place to stay and we wanted a refund. Next we got a call and the offer was to reimburse me for the cleaning fee. Two times we got this offer to reimburse the cleaning fee and two times I asked was I supposed to do the laundry, make the beds and clean the unit myself? No response. It was almost 3 hours later when they said unit had been cleaned. We were never notified that unit was going to be cleaned that evening until after it was done. We had already found another place to stay. Owners out nothing, we are out 2 nights stay minus the cleaning fee. Not a good way to do business. Dealing from NC with people over the phone from Seattle, Washington. Leaves you with an insecure feeling and no one to help.

Great location and community

While checking into the until we realized the Key FOB was missing that gave access to the community amenities I immediately attempted to contact the service number and had to leave a message with the answering service. When I asked when I should expect to hear a response they would not provide any estimate. It was odd to me that 4 pm was the check-in time, yet there was not anyone available to fix an issue during check-in. After waiting for a response, I called back at noon the next day. They send someone to the Condo to look for the fob and fix a malfunctioning fan. Once they did a quick scan and asked a few questions they left around 1 PM. Another Vacasa employee returned at 3:45 that day and said there was nothing they could do about the beeping and they could not buy a new key fob so we were not able to access the amenities during our stay 2-day stay. We were very disappointed since one of the main reasons that we rented this higher-priced unit was the amenities. The overall unit was nicely appointed and we enjoyed the area.

Great Trip

Can’t beat the view from here. Location was great and driving down to the river at the bottom of the neighborhood was a one of the favorite things for our kids to do. They played in the river for hours and even preferred it over the pool. Will be coming back for sure.
