"We're glad we got to stay in Big Bend. It was a great location near the visitor center and the store with multiple trails next to it. Beautiful night sky and we got to eat our dinner overlooking the hiking trails and seeing the sunset and starry sky. The room was outdated and the toilet looked a little scary and the beds were dipping in the center. Our room also didn't have any body wash in the dispenser but luckily we brought our own. The room has a microwave, coffee maker, and fridge so that was nice. The lodge was closed and under construction so there's only a stinky food truck you can get food from. We just bought cup noodles and sandwiches and fruit from the store for our dinner."
