This is the second citizenM I have stayed at, and I must say I have loved their concept as well as their location in both Boston and Chicago. The only minus thing I could say would be. I wish they had coffee machines in the room.

The day we arrived, noticed the comforter, under the cover, had blood stains on it. Gross! Did call down to front desk and they brought us a new one but that should have been caught by the cleaning staff before it was put on our bed!

Way too expensive for what you get

The lights go on when you close shades and you can’t get them off. Room is way too technology based and nothing is coordinated. Mattress has huge lumps and holes where people have slept. Bathroom is smaller than a cruise ship bathroom. Waste pails very small and hidden. Carpet in hallway to rooms is disturbing. Should be in a horror film. Good thing we don’t have vertigo. Can’t believe we paid $300 for this shoe box with weird technology. Oh and why down comforters and no sheets? Soooo hot and the AC didn’t even remotely cool the room off.

Great location. Walking distance to Fanueil Hall and restaurants. Also short walking distance to Hannover Street. Small room but cozy. Great for a solo traveler Everything works from an iPad.. TV, shades and curtains, temperature and lighting. Very easy to use. I would definitely stay here again.
