Staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was in an excellent location with a great adjoining bar but the rooms and hotel itself is a bit run down and in need of some TLC. Faded carpets, dirty bathroom, broken TV that came on when it wanted and we got fed up reporting and rooms that were noisy and lacked any comfort made it feel very underwhelming. I’d compare it with a slightly run down Travel Lodge (2*) Small things like warmer lighting bulbs and replacing worn out carpets and other room accessories would make a big difference. Also consider way to reduce noise transference and the addition of a safe in the room perhaps. We didn’t spend a lot of time in the room as too busy exploring but after a long day walking round its always nice to come back to a welcoming room which this was not. Wouldn’t stay here again and was disappointed.

This particular room was very small but fine for a quick 2 day trip. In a good location downtown close to all transit, coffee shops, restaurants. Lovely and helpful staff.

Do NOT STAY HERE!!! Dirty, stains everywhere it was gross. There is no extra lock on the door so we put the chair and suitcase in front of it. I did call the front to inform them that our room was just horrible. We we told we had their “ best” room so there is nothing he could do for us. We came for a play at the colonial theater. This hotel was .5 miles but I so regret having to stay here. Yes I did try to find another hotel but it was 11 pm so I had to deal with the situation. Save your money and go anywhere else. We had dinner in their restaurant and the bartender had 3 shots while we sat there. This place is awful!! Save your money and go anywhere else. We so wish we did.
